I am using A4R and find I have to almost daily dose Magnesium. My KH also got higher than I wanted (9.6 now) with a Calcium of 430. What would the solution be to lower the alkalinity (only waterchange?)? Is there a TM (Balling) product to use? I guess not as raising my Ca is not a preferred method as my Ca is already quite good. I have had my container for a little less than 2 years in this configuration by the way, filled with LPS and SPS.
Why you dont telll people what is the problem with organic compounds? How long it can last and what will happen after several years when corals get bigger.

Advantage, all for reef, maintains calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, Trace elements. Disadvantage no pH boost. If it could raise pH similar to the calcium formate then it would be a game changer! Sadly I had to stop using AFR due to low ph and now dose kalkwasser.
@@TropicMarinOfficial yes Hans said something about figuring out how much AFR to bring dkh from 7 to 8 and then add that much and dose kalk. Running a ecotech versa dosing pump and dialing in the dkh to sit at 9 dkh so I'm not going to let the tank drop to 7 and then spend a week see how much it'll take. I've been working and tweaking the dose to keep at a 9dkh and I believe I'm there. So question, how do I use AFR if my dkh is already where I want it while using kalk? All for reef is super easy and super working. It was game changer in my aquarium. One additional disdvantage....no way to use together with kalwasser to bump up PH.
@@TropicMarinOfficial if i am dosimg AFR, i know that all other elements are in balance As i know, kalkwasser incresse only KH amd Ca, then after some time i will have quite high unbalance on rest. Additional, kh test is my indicator how many AFR add to tank. Any practical advice how to care about it? From 2 years, AFR + weekly 20% water change is enough to avoid additional test/ICP and keep tank in good condition.
Used to dose everything separately over the last couple of decades until i tried All For Reef a couple of years back it saves so much messing around fantastic product...if my parameters get skewed i just do an extra couple of water changes above my normal routine to reset the levels...only needed to do it once so far in two years (last month) as magnesium had risen, all set now for another 2 years of stress free dosing 😎
ฺfor balling you need to dose part A B C seperately. here we can dose A(Ca) B(KH) C(mg+traces) seperately all for reef is ABC in one . here we dose to match the KH only as Kh is mostly consumed compared to Ca/Mg.
the thing that stops me from using All For Reef is that the magnesium level is stable even though in years of management I have made very few additions. I can inexplicably count them on one hand in twenty years ( test ICP ). Have been using CarboCalcium in combination with A- and K+ elements for three years now and the Ca and Kh values are very stable. I dose CarboCalcium through a peristaltic pump, it is very convenient, effective and I immediately found it to stabilize the Ca/Kh ratio.

Hallo, Totgestein nimmt gerade am Anfang sehr viel Phosphat auf, wozu es zu einer Limitierung im Wasser kommen kann. Partikuläres Phosphat kann dabei Helfen diese Limitierung zu verhindern, da die Phosphat-Partikel nicht vom Gestein aufgenommen werden können und nur den Korallen zur Verfügung stehen. Für die ersten Monate empfehlen wir Tropic Marin Phos-Start, das neben dem parikulären Phosphat die Microbiologie ankurbelt und die Einfahrphase unterstützt.
@@TropicMarinOfficial Hi . Ich habe keinen Abschäumer und nur ein kleines Becken . Mache jede Woche 20% Wasserwechsel, und seit dem ich euer Salz nehme "schütte" ich nix mehr zusätzlich rein . Nur Wasserwechsel und die Tiere gedeihen alle prächtig 🥰
Ganz ehrlich gibt es überhaupt signifikante Verkaufszahlen zu dem partikulären phosphat? Kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Das Internet ist zu dem Thema nahezu tot. Meine Erfahrungen sind auch nicht gut damit hab hier noch ne Dose rumliegen. Wer sie braucht, zu verschenken, bitte melden
Die Forschungsegebnisse zu partikulärem Phosphat sind sehr gut. Samuel Nietzer nutzt es z.B. regelmäßig in seiner Forschungsanlage zur sexuellen Reproduktion von Korallen. Wie bei allen Neuheiten gibt es natürlich auch Skeptiker, die erstmal auf positive Berichte warten. Wir haben bisher sehr viel positives Feedback bekommen. Die Korallen nehmen das gut auf uns stehen super da. Womit warst du bei deiner Anwendung unzufrieden?
@@TropicMarinOfficial ich sah keine Verbesserungen. Ich Zweifel an, daß die Korallen das überhaupt vollumfänglich aufnehmen können. Also führt es schon da , zu unerwünschten Ausfällungen und absetzungen
Zur ICP wird es ebenfalls noch Videos und Beschreibungen geben. Die Produkte sollen im Herbst/ gegen Ende des Jahres auf dem deutschen Markt verfügbar sein.

I have always been interested in coral spawning. I try and keep a stable reef tank with some variations when compared to World's oceans. What prompts a coral to spawn, is it something that will envitably happen in a stable reef tank or is there an external prompt?
There are some reports that corals suddently spawn in private tanks, but this could be very dangerous beause a lot of proteine get's into the system. In nature, corals spawn once a year and are guided by the moon. If you want more information, check the other videos on our channel.
Ich habe ein Problem, ich habe die ARKA 1900 + 4 Liter Mischbettharzfilter. Leider bin ich mit der Kieselsäure beim Osmosewasser immer noch am Anschlag. Der Tröpfchnetest geht durch die Decke. Das vernichter mir jedesaml das Meerwasser Becken, ich bräuchte glaube ich 6 oder 8 dieser Filter das es frei von Kieselsäuse ist. Kann ich Destilirtes Wasser aus dem Baumark auch kaufen, und aufsalzen? Das sollte ja rein sein das Wasser. Die Kieselalgen sind immer eine Katastrophe u8nd es kammen dadurch auch immer Dinos die noch dazu alles an Wirbellosen vernichtet haben. Was kann ich tun, um wieder ein Meerwasser zu fahren?

Wie kommt das das die "Xenien" so braun werden, is bei mir ebenfalls so ? Habe die in weiss gekauft, und innerhalb von paar Monaten sind die braun geworden. Aber wachsen wie "sau"
Biete seit Wochen eine 1600g Dose des all for reef an....keiner interessiert sich dafür. Dabei möchte ich nur 30 Euro inkl. Versand haben. ..einfach traurig.

The decision to keep your system at higher or lower alkalinities is a personal preference. I prefer to mimic natural sea water when possible. The decision to use an AWC system is also a personal preference. These two factors will help you decide on the version of Tropic Marin salt that would be best to use in your system. But the factors that influence that personal preference are many, and ones that I wouldn’t be privy to. What I tried to explain in the video is more about, once those personal preferences are decided, which salt version does that indicate to use.
