Keep it up men. Production value is good, I like the conversational setting between the two of you. Be sure to base your teaching on the word of God and pray for discernment and guidance. God Bless.
He is your own heart. Second coming is you when you show up like him and forgive all your brother n sisters and see the face of Christ in them. That what he brought to the world and so they nailed him. Yet his kingdom is not of this world and it is within. When you find it you will know it’s true.
Correction Jesus wants me to remember he knows the count of the number of hairs upon my head as well as that he had already known me before I knew myself. Praise Jesus the only way 🙌
Morality is baked into humans and many other mammals who experience love, pain, empathy and sympathy. No god required and it’s pretty cool that nature helped us become this way!
The Bible says nothing about curse words. Ephesians says “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” It doesn’t say don’t say fuck. It says don’t use speech that is not building up. By your definition, I could say “that person is so dumb” and not be saying a “curse word” so I’m clear, when in actuality, this is the type of speech the Bible is referring to. It’s about the intent behind the word, not the word itself. Exclaiming fuck when you bust your knuckles working on your car is not a sin.
I see what you’re saying, it doesn’t say in the Bible specifically not to say certain cuss words or if they are ok or not ok besides in the verse you mentioned. This is where conviction comes in, it says in Roman’s 2: 14-15 that the laws are written on our hearts. We have to ask The Lord to convict us of things that are wrong. For me the conviction was cussing so I worked to stop. I hope this makes sense 🙌🏻
That one goal is great if you’re blind to everything else why not. Also theres a book titled hypocrisy it has one word on every page it just says religions!
@@LIVEWITHBREI yes his followers believed he was being literal and that is why in John 6:66 it says they stopped following Jesus and went back to their old life, they said his words “are too hard”. But believe it or not some “Christians” actually believe it’s just wine and bread and openly mock what Jesus said about his eating his “true flesh”.
Great pod boys. Simple & effective. I was wondering why i felt fatigued lately even on days i don’t have much work to do. This helped me understand. I took a lot of notes, God bless you both❤️🙏🏻
Excellent episode gents. Thank you for sharing this perspective. I have found that a great way for me to work on this "re-wiring" process is to fast fairly regularly. This could be from food, TV, social media, entertainment, music, or really anything that serves to satisfy the flesh. Through this, the Lord has helped me recognize when I am being led by the Spirit vs being led by the flesh. I am pretty sure this is essentially what you were getting at toward the end when you talked about cutting certain things out. Love to see other men of God on here. Keep it up!
That’s super encouraging thank you. I really like that idea of fasting certain things that we know are just satisfying our flesh. Might have to do that more often!
