It's super durable I used Vibram 700 Brown Cork and one of my best Soles downside makes boots a bit heavy and feet get hot because the rubber Sole but will out last leather Soles up to 3 times of course heel caps will wear down but front soles👍
No way a Modern made Boot walked/worked/lasted that long. Also there are not any threads that hold the soles on anymore. Just glue and a plastic/rubber sole molded to look like it has threads. Quality isn't what it once was.......
No unfortunately this model of boots are not sew on. What Frye did stitched the leather Soles then glue them on to the boots. They have foam insoles and are hard to sew them.
Beautiful work! I have been an apprentice at my local shoe repair shop since the beginning of may and i was just wondering what you did to stiffen the leather on the uppers? Or was this somehow a side effect of the resole
Just had my boots resoled yesterday in Bakersfield, how appropriate haha Nah that’s a gorgeous job. If I were closer I’d definitely had gone with you for that resole.
