Julie Delpy could be 350 years old an she would still be the most stunningly beautiful lady <3 ahhhh LAMOUR... cest de la merde non? *exhales smoke*... I wish I was famous enough to even say it to her face.
Guys just so you know if sth like this happens to you irl, the chances of them being a trafficker is more likely than then being your love of your life😁
@@RazvanMusaloiuThanks. It's complicated. I'm hesitant because it doesn't sound like things end well with them. I am around the actors' ages and have known about this movie since it originally came out during a time I was living in France but have only just watched the movie for the first time this year. I need some time to process the first movie before I jump into the others.
@@meropale One strategy is to wait 9-10 years between watching each of the other two movies. I watched each of them multiple times. One thing they capture well is that life is long and complicated.
Imagine if he was not extremely handsome, as he is, the kind of reaction he would get with this pick up line. Hell, I' d bet 30 euro, every guy that I know, to actually try that same pick up line. Most girls would find it cheesy and (let's be honest here) a little creepy.
actually I think it's a great line, it's never creepy if it's genuine, he is being honest, cool, spontaneous and brave for asking for such a thing. There's literally zero creepiness here, quite the opposite
+Judobigdog At the end of this clip he should have moved over and let her walk in front of him. Manners never go out of style. That is the real "game" that real women appreciate.
Love is like that when your bless with the right connection with a person It is possible just remember to hold on to that when you find it just like they did🥰
I felt the same about the topless scene while I was watching it for the 1st time, but after rewatching parts of the film several times, I came to think that it actually was spot-on, rather than out of place. 'Cause it wasn't some cheap-aimed nudity sequence, but it rather enhanced the "natural feeling" we have for the characters in 2013 : Delpy wasn't being pretentious or a show-off - she instead looked like an average middle-aged woman in bed with her partner.
Love this scene. This really parallels and goes full circle by the time you get to Before Midnight when he meets her at the table to tell her he is from the future; hence showing that there is still a part of the jesse shown in this scene that exists.
this is the only movie series where the sequels don't disappoint. i wish they hadn't shown julie topless in the before midnight version - it really seemed out of place.
The essence of connection with each other, will set the tone of the whole conversation When you approach a woman for the first time..be yourself..be casual.. Make it genuine and direct to the point.. Women don't see men through their eyes.. They see men with their energy.. I mean the positive one.. Make her realize that's there's something in her..that you are genuinely interested about",
Did Jesse ever pay the bartender for the bottle of wine? I can't remember if they talked about that in the second movie. The second one was my least favorite of the three.
Oh yeah indeed there is a hole in his sweater..haha!!! I watched this uncountable number of times and i've never noticed it and would've never probably and from now on each time I'll go back to see the movie again instead of enjoying it i'll be looking at the hole in his sweat and wondering was it a fashion thing something in in the 90's?! or was it that the budget of the movie was so miserable that they made their leading actor look like a beggar in rags!!!
I didn't want to see it, glad I did. It coulda been me...I could of been a contenda. Delpy sat opposite me for an hour or two in NYC. I kept looking and looking...Golly, who is she? I picked up a paper the next day and saw her pic with Chris Rock doing promo for her then latest movie.
@vaadaenmacchi totally agreed!! however, I heard some of Julie Delpi´s interview about this movie saying how meticulously planned was each performance. I imagine so much hard work in order to look almost like an improvisation!!
This is a classic scene. Very pivotal. This is the kind of persuasive speak that I wish that I was better at haha!! But then again...it also helps if you look like Ethan Hawke too! hahaha!
This is really an important scene in the movie. Thanks for sharing :D What I think about it is that she is thinking about what could have still happened when they had stayed together for more time when he comes back in. I think she absolutely know what he is about going to do and as he starts talking she just waits and keeps listening what he is all going to tell to be able to spend more time with her. I think this amuses her and she likes it and is happy that he had the courage to do so.
neither has acted in this movie. it looks so natural like two strangers meeting and enjoying each others company. that's how acting should be - just as if they're not acting at all.
