Unfortunately the 2.0 version cut back on some of the features, while maintaining the same price point. 2.0’s removed the lining in the pockets on the main compartment flap, they removed the loop panel inside the bag, and changed the water bottle pockets to be a zipper 3/4 of the bag length versus a pocket with a flap closure.
Having every single backpanel be compatible with both a water bladder and/or manual breaching tools is a huge plus. I hope that a universal system for attaching backpanels to plate carriers is developed so that you don’t have to buy a new plate carrier just to utilize a specific backpanel.
Any chance you guys could update this bag in a 30 litre version interior with brown trim instead of black to really hone in on that rustic heritage canvas and leather look? Would love to see that happen.
so did you leave the sbr sized gun at the range or did it fit in the bag, literally the one question I wanted answered was if this can fit something like a DDM4 PDW
You guess need to make something like they Haley flat pack, something you can attach to the SMC that goes nearly flat in case you need to put on a ruck or a larger pack
Your SMC assault pack is really good. One of my favorites, great feedback on it. Just ordered an assaulter pack and looking forward to setting it up as well. Your SMC plate carrier is very good.
Got an SMC assaulter panel with the zipper conversion for a minimalist carrier. Any tips on not having the panel wanting to almost pull away? Using malice clips instead of the built in retention along with the zippers obviously.
Recently I purchased this plate carrier and being a filthy civilian LOL I'm having some trouble figuring out how to adjust the cumberbund I've looked online for any kind of instruction with no avail. Any help would be great
You have to adjust from the rear using the malice clips. You unbuckle the 2 malice clips and move the cummerbund strips left or right depending on tighter or looser fitment.
