I put a fan type led like this in my duke bike. But now the water is trapped inside the headlight bottom side of the park-light. Where did it come from? Did the rubber come through the side of the dust cover? What to do next to prevent water from entering it 🤔
I have a C6 led. But it doest fit. I can't close the head back. As the led fan casing is bigger and it touches the key holder assembly inside the head.
Yes that kinda happens. Make some room by wiggling the wires in the back it should fit. It doesn't touch the key holder, but there might be some wires infront the key holder make sure you keep them sidewise.
@@abhishekshakya287 thanks for the reply. No it is touching the key assembly, that black pipe kind of thing. I just pushed the head back and tightened the screws. But I am sure pressure is being created all the places wer we put screws. Not sure about the outcome.
@@ADITHYA388 Hey man! Do check the gapings from above, there is a gap below the display console. Have a flashlight handy to view inside the head of the bike, you should be able to see the LED fan, if you can see the LED bulky part/fan then the fitting should be fine.
Since it has no problem with my duke, it should be the same for the other Duke's right? Besides, did you get your key assembly changed or got any after market key assembly? As the aftermarket key assembly might have some size differences and the gaping problem might have occurred.
This problem might be common with the KTM's. In my case it turned out to be the wiring. Might be issue the sensor or the wiring. Mostly the cases are with the wiring so do check the wiring harness and turn the handle fully left to right if the response in the dash changes. Also check, wiggle and press the covered wires in the right side infront of the tank which goes towards the head of the bike. The bunch wires lies at the cone set bearing part 'lower part of the handles'

Brother, I had the similar issue, please do check once whether or not you are able to see few bubbles/ white kind of foam in the engine oil looking from the oil glass. If yes, it might be the issue like the coolant is mixing with the engine oil. In that case you need to replace the water pump seal. This solves the issue. Generally sensors will work perfectly. Hope I answerd the question.

Yes brother i asked with the service center they told me it might have the problem with the wiring or the sensors. But couldn't confirm it, until the new working sensors are plugged on.
@@maddybabu bro it's not a dangerous issue it's just a minor issue. It's just a issue with the sensor or the wiring, it is just showing the wrong information in the dash, but it doesn't effect the engine because the engine is not over heated actually. In cases the ecu might not let us to start the bike coz it's thinking the engine is over heated but actually it's not. So if you have the similar problem you can takeout the sensor plug and start the bike and take it towards your convince. It's totally safe.
