Welcome to Henry TV! The Official RU-vid Channel for Henry Repeating Arms.
Henry Repeating Arms is one of the country’s leading rifle manufacturers. The company’s manufacturing facilities are in Bayonne, NJ and Rice Lake, WI and their company motto is “Made In America or Not Made At All”. Anthony Imperato, company President, offers this personal guarantee: "Henry owners have my personal guarantee to make certain they are 100% satisfied with their purchase of our rifles. If you are going to spend your hard earned money on a Henry I can assure you that we will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are happy that you bought a Henry."
you are asking premium prices for a glorified cosplay gun, and you have a kid in a company t shirt and baseball cap to promote it? The marketing team really worked hard to screw themselves on this one. If you arent putting faith in the marketing, then you have put no faith in the product.
The push button cylinder release is a nice touch. It’s a feature I wish was available on all revolvers. I’m not too keen on the separate brass grip frame. I prefer the 1-piece frame found on most other revolvers. A pistol priced as this one should have quality adjustable sights. All things considered I welcome another American manufacturer of quality revolvers.
Before anyone else complains about the price of this gun, nobody on gunbroker is selling them above 750 dollars. Henry as usual put the MSRP **way** too high compared to the real price of the revolver.
It's a quality American Made gun. Go price other quality American made revolvers, you will find the price competitive..........jeez you people. A heritage or a wrangler or a diamondback are all good cheap little guns. Go pick one up and see what they are made of before you compare them to this gun........THEY ARE NOT THE SAME CATEGORY OF REVOLVER, AT ALL! THE HERITAGE ROSCOE is a Rossi, it is a decent gun but not US made like their .22 SA revolvers.
For anyone wigging out about the price of this revolver whch is around $750-$775 on websites just remeber this is in line upper end Henry 22S/L/LR Goldenboy lever action rifles and not even close to a lot of the commemorative models.
Wow its called the "Homesteader"? Perfect marketing to attract every wannabe trad reet@rd out there. Yeah, im something of a homesteader myself. Out in the wild backwoods of orange county, me and my wife and our 5 chickens and 2 very "special" children that we are homeschooling in the ways of carnivore diet and flat-earthism.
Henry and the Long Ranger rifle is a go option just like the Browning lever action and it’s predecessor the Winchester model 88 a Savage 99 accurate and easy to handle and they’re made in Wisconsin!
10 round of 22lr that have a good barel length?...i hope my country import this soon. Personal take, i dont like 22lr revolver that have a long and heavy af barel...dis one looks awesome.
I hope ya'll make an x variant of the big boy revolver. All black, polymer grip panels just like the rifles and fiber optic sights (or at least just the front sight since that's already simple to swap).
street price for their 357 revolvers is like 700. So this 22 for 700 or under isn't poorly priced in my opinion. Having handled them in person and comparing them to the fit and finish of my model 617 and TRR8... Henry has much better fit and finish.
@@MasterChief0093 it’s a .22lr revolver I can get a charter arms, ruger, diamondback, heritage, or even a Taurus that are plenty good enough for fractions of the price.
@@toegoth No doubt that they'll get the job done. They just won't have the same level of fit/finish. This is more like a premium revolver like the 617. The 617 I own goes for 900... And feels and costs the same as the 686 because it is the same revolver. It's just a different chambering. And the firing pin is just a little higher for the rim fires. But other than that, everything else is the same. Same goes for this revolver. The people who buy Taurus and diamondback aren't the market these revolvers are aiming for. On their website they even label them as collector's items. I'm sure they'll release different variants later that will cost a little less than these. The big difference between the smiths and these in my opinion are the fit and finish. Modern smiths have garbage fit and finish and their customers service sucks. The fit and finish on modern henry's is superb and their customer service is great. At least in my experience with owning and dealing with both company's.
@@toegoth I agree I'm not looking for a collector's model either. The perspective I believe you're not considering is a training gun. The benefit of the 617 is that it is the same gun as the 686. So you get more trigger time with only the recoil being the difference. That's why I have the 617. It's worth the money for those of us who use it for that purpose and plinking secondarily. I'm waiting for an all black/steel version with fiber optic sights to replace my smiths. Smith's quality has been crap and the their customer service is down right disrespectful. For plinking I agree this is not a good value.
It definitely would make for a handy little carb to have around. However, when I handled one last year, I was half-tempted to pull down the rear end of the foregrip and try to pump it up. ;-) My H001 feels of much higher craftsmanship despite being at the bottom of the Henry food chain.
Your price point should be $249 maybe $299 max for that gun. Though you would sell a ton at $199. It looks like a nice gun. It’s double action and 10 shots. Sure it’s way better than the heritage, but is it better than Ruger? Like all the other comments here, you are selling a .22 cowboy revolver. This isn’t one of your iconic lever action rifles. You are priced too high.
i feel like you aren't considering manufacturing costs of this gun... These are the same gun as their 357 counterpart with just a different chambering. Just like S&W with their 686(357) and 617(22). Same frame, parts and manufacturing, just a different chambering.
