Thanks so much for the video G. I always learn a lot from watching takeoffs and landings and how I can improve. Sort of like watching game films :). I think it flies very well. Got to work on those crosswind takeoffs and landings! :)
I love this bird and I cant wait to get mine out this spring to maiden it. I just found your channel my friend Im Joe and gave you a like and sub to support your channel and look fwd to more. Thanks again and its a wonderful bird.👍👍👍👍👍
Saddens me to hear you would repaint this. I was an aircrewman and it was my second cruise on the USS Camden AOE-2 that we painted this helo. I later flew 63 to the boneyard. This helo got a lot of attention because of that paint job. It was painted by AMH2 Eric Robles, had 14 stripes in the wrong order and well over 50 stars. The fleet admiral wanted it painted over but we refused for a long time claiming “operational necessity”, just couldn’t down the bird for that long of time to repaint it. Everyone loved that paint job. It was the result of some friendly competition between the dets of HC-11. One of the dets started painting the doghouse (front pylon) with different designs. Our maintenance chief and Maintenance Officer wanted to show everyone up so this paint job was the result. If I might point out, Navy H-46 don’t have chaff pods on the stub wings or the IR detector on the aft pylon. But it will be correct when you paint it in a Marine Corp scheme. Beautiful model none the less and nice flying. I love seeing this model.
I'm just wondering. Do the little tiny troops have to go through any training before they get dropped into a hot spot? Do they issue them little tiny parachutes as well?
Your CH 47 helicopter is so beautiful, what is the size of the helicopter, how many cm are the length of those wings? You build them yourself or buy them online.
Is that a balsa kit? Or is it a foam board build? Im actually building a foam board kaos right now off of a set of kaos junior plans. Electric of course. Nice flying plane you got..
The bottom line is that is started coming out, but fortunately it didn't completely depart. It goes in from the bottom, not the top, in order to hide it. It is going to be held in with a small screw head catching the wire to secure it in place. That should fix it!
