Nice video! I know it's been awhile so I appreciate any insight you may have! I just installed the Prorace low mount shorty. I see you also removed the big black exhaust silencer box. How did you mount that lower aluminum OEM panel/cat shield? The black box had the mount for it and now it's gone. Thank you very much!!
You are right , I mislabeled.. I was tired after driving back. I started in C group because I was looking for a friends gloves. This must have been after lunch I went late session back to B group. I'll change it now. I ran my last session on a bike I just got last week, a triple 1050.
I just feel blessed that I'm getting so much attention from a pro racer. You are watching my display even to notice the time on the little clock in the corner.
@@gspeed2963 I enjoy watching riding videos, don’t we all? I was at this track day with you. The lines and pace everybody in this video was taking just seemed a bit off for A group, then I noticed the time. no big, not sure what you’re getting defensive about Brotha
@@mattsteakk bro I haven't met you I don't think even. Maybe we can meet up and do a mellow ride and or a track day like I said and I'll follow your lines. I wasn't well prepared for the course. I would like to me more prepared in advance next time. I was focusing mainly on getting 3 bikes ready to even be able to run out there.
I was trying to take the good lines but I ended up making it up as I went. I was out to have fun.. A lot of those A group guys have bikes that smash the straights but then they were slow motion in turns ha.
The correct lines lays the path for everything else (brake, throttle, markers, vision, etc). You can be super fast with terrible body position. You cannot be fast with terrible brake and throttle work, it will make you crash.
Thanks. 2nd time for me there. I was trying some different lines but mainly was getting blocked out by the back markers. Should I slow down everywhere or just in certain areas?
@@gspeed2963I don’t mean for this to sound mean but you missed every single apex. Slow down everyone and learn the lines, then the speed will easily come
@@mattsteakk thanks man, you seem like you've run it a few times. Maybe next time I'll go in rain mode and just work on racing lines. My homie said I'm smoking too loud too and just need to do lines..
@@mattsteakk I didn't realize you were a local rider.. maybe next time we are at a track day together there maybe you will be nice enough to let me follow you to learn the racing line. Give me a heads up when you go.
@@gspeed2963 I don’t think I’ll be at too many of the forza days coming up, and any other day I’ll be in A group so it will be difficult to get intl the same group together but I’m sure we can figure something out.
That's toward the north end of de Luz returning back south. As great as Palomar is, I think this is a bit closer. It's much more unpredictable and the variety of turns will keep you on point!
