I would imagine these would smell and taste fantastic, being home made and your versions. (My 'to-make- list keeps growing, lol ( make this recipe) ... and my herbs/spices 'to-buy' list grows as well. ) Thanks for the upload ~
Wow u have a curry tree, beyond amazing, I'm so plain jane, I have never had curry chicken, I do raise my own, but afraid to waste one, another great video, thank u, and great blessed day to u and jr.
Sitting here wondering if the blade attachment would screw onto the mason jar? They look like they could possibly be the same size. Curious minds want to know lol.
Wonderful! I am sitting here thinking I could order some of this from you, but then practical me kicks in and says, " I CAN make that ...plus others, too.." so I sprung for the '" magic butter /oil infuser'" machine with $20 off coupon ( Like yours from Angela ) and some Vitamin E oil. ~ Now to get busy with infusing herb oils before winter hits with no plants around!!! Thank you for the upload ~ 🦉🦉!
Thank you so much for the recipe and God bless you and your family . 🙂🙏🙂 I just wish that I had some plantain oil and some comfrey oil and a few of the other ingredients . 🤔 Can't wait to try this recipe out. 🙂
Teresa, I'm curious are you STERILIZING THE TINS PRIOR TO POURING YOUR SOLUTIONS INTO THEM? Just wondering if you use them straight out of the packaging, rinse them with water before using (of course they would need to be completely dry after rinsing). Can you use white bees wax pellets/block in place of the yellow? IDK, but I have been collecting a few products to make different things and I thought I would ask someone like you who knows what they are doing. I can tell you have years of experience. Harvesting in the wild is fun for sure but as we age it can wear a body out as we travel over the hills and through the woods to find what we are seeking. As always Teresa Thank you for sharing and caring. Don't forget to take a break FOR YOURSELF once in a while. Care givers can forget about their own health needs (such as rest) very easily. No rest for the weary saying was most likely stated from someone who ran non-stop doing for others, in this case you are that someone. All of the owl family have learned much valuable information of the many old ways that were once daily duties from your reminding us, teaching us, sharing with us, the HOW TO's in DIY survival needs. Sincerely Sandra just an old granny whose still livin and learnin =)
I use manuka oil rather than tea tree oil for it's antifungal (1 drop per ounce) properties and sweetgum resin rather than Frankensince. But I am going to stop using pine tar in my recipe because I just can't tolerate the smell. Manuka honey makes good sense. It's amazing how we end up using such similar ingredients in our recipes when we research from a "what do I want this remedy to do?" standpoint. Can I ask what carrier oil you're using for your plantain and comfrey oils? I had been using sunflower oil but switched to sweet almond but it's costly... and now I find I like just a pure regular old olive oil.
I absolutely love your channel sweetheart . to show you how much times have change, though ... even the source of your beeswax is important . Most commercial beekeepers reuse the same wax over and over in their foundation ... until it becomes a toxic mess full of pesticides and the rest we can't say . Then they sell it Anyone that wants to start a modern day apothecary ... needs to start with a beehive . One thing people may not know ... is every state has a state beekeeper .They have more power to come on your property, than even game wardens do . Bees aren't scary . You will get stung every once in a while, but you'll get over it . Between the propolis , the bee pollen and the honey ... bees are the best investment you can make, and they really don't take that much work if you're doing it, right . in fact, leave them alone and ignore me most of modern beekeeping . Leave the bees alone, and they will provide . if you need two hives ... provide space for two ...
i realized I should have been more specific ... it takes about eight gallons of honey to make a pound of beeswax . Naturally, commercial beekeepers don't want to pay that cost ... so they keep a wax foundation building up year after year . The only way you can avoid that is to do it yourself . It honestly isn't that hard . Look up natural beekeeping and swarm trapping .
I love beats. Never new you could prepare them this way. I have some inthe garden yet so I will go look for them. Some of my beats wintered over pucked them when they was ready. Thanks Teresa.
Do you have a good recipe in how to preserving the beets buy canning them or pickling them or even dehydrating them . 🤔 I know that many people make chips and french fries out of them besides baking and boiling them and even making mashed beets . 🤔 Can we make a tonic out of beet juice . 🤔 What types of vegetables and herbs and fruit do you preserve while canning . 🤔 Do you dehydrate most of your items . 🤔 Do you pickle your items in vinegar or salt . 🤔 I know that most of your tonics you use vodka . 🤔 Can we pickle are beets in vodka . 🤔 What are the best way in preserving vegetables and fruits and herbs for long-term use in an emergency situation it would be really nice to know. 🤔🙂🤔 Sorry so much questions just need answers . 😅 I absolutely love beats and beet juice quite healthy . 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing . 🙂
Thank you for sharing and God bless you and your family. 🙂🙏🙂 Me and my daughter absolutely love red beets and the water you boil it in makes a wonderful healthy drink . 😍😃😍 You made me so hungry for beats decided to go shopping. 🙂 For some reason I can never grow them big enough . 🤔 I think it is my soil it is really Rocky . 😮 Yummy yummy . 🙂
