Does sealing make the surface slippery? I painted my basketball court and don’t want to slip. Also, will straining make it harder for tire marks to and oil stains to show up on the concrete?
I'm looking to stain my driveway. There are a few different sections of concrete, some older and some newer, with slightly different colored concrete. Would your water based stain look the same across all of the different types of concrete on my driveway? I'm trying to make all of it look the same. Thanks!
Hi there! That's precisely the intention for this stain. Our FX Nano Semi-Transparent water-based stain, is designed as an alternative to acid stains. It delivers a two-tone aesthetic similar to an acid stain finish, with highs and lows. If you prefer a solid stain finish, explore our traditional solid stain here: classiccoatingssystems.com/classic-wb-stain-colors/

I have a new concrete that was installed one month ago. Surface was cleaned but not with your specific solution. And water based stain of yours was sealed with Glaze N Seal rather then your sealer. The stain is easily scratching off. Is this due to the cleaning/sealing products ? All timelines you mentioned were met or exceeded. Sealer was allowed to dry for 3 days. This is for an interior sunroom application.
what if the other sealer was applied only a few hours after second coat of stain? it dried for 3 days with sealer then it was walked on and seems to easily scratch.
Our products operate in a three-step system, as demonstrated in our videos: Clean, Stain, Seal with Classic Products exclusively. If issues arise from the use of another brand's cleaner or sealer, we can't provide accurate advice due to the unknown ingredients in their formula. Our stains exhibit excellent performance when following our recommended step-by-step process outlined in our videos, using only Classic products. We are unable to provide guidance on products that aren't ours. Kindly reach out to the manufacturer of the products you used for assistance. For more in-depth inquiries, feel free to contact us directly.
How do you know if your current color is in the concrete or sprayed on?Our deck is at least 15yrs old in good condition but color is very faded, no cracking or peeling just dull and faded.
Hi! yes, our Stripper will remove all water based stains, sealers, paints, lacquer sealers, graffiti, tough acrylics, latex paints, oil based enamels, etc. Keep in mind some lacquers are thicker, so it may need 2 coats of Stripper depending on the thickness. See product data sheet here: classiccoatingssystems.com/classic-stripper-tds/
Hi! There is no existing stain here. It’s integral colored cement. Surfaces must be free from all existing materials (paint, stains, sealers) with our Stripper + Cleaner. You must have a properly cleaned surface before applying any new products. 👍
Great video! Will this work for a driveway that has 5 years of Behr concrete stain and then a layer of Behr concrete paint on top of it? We tried relentlessly to remove it using Jasco with little improvement but need something more stringent. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. JT
Thanks! Our Stripper is great for removing many materials such as paint, water based stains, sealers, graffiti, etc. Read more here: classiccoatingssystems.com/classic-stripper-tds/

Hi Tom! This is a semi-transparent water based stain, it supposed to give you natural high and lows variations, similar to an acid stain finish. For a more solid finish, please check out our Traditional Stain on our website. Thank you.
Hello, yes you always want to cover all surrounding areas with some plastic drop cloths. Properly covering and protecting surfaces before staining is a crucial step. Just like you would with any paint.
