When I sailed on the Seashore there was a separate enclosed area of the casino for smokers. I am not sure if they have gone completely non-smoking since then.

Awesome video!! I’m doing the same exact itinerary on the Seascape in exactly 52 days!!! Yes I’m definitely counting the days. It’s my second time sailing on the Seascape but my first time visiting Jamaica and George Town. We already have our Jamaican excursion planned but I’m not sure what to do when we get to George Town. Whats your advice? Should I book another excursion or maybe just jump in a cab and go to a beach instead? I’d appreciate your help. Thanks!!
Hi. Danny! In Georgetown you can take a short walk from the cruise port to the town library. You can hop on a public bus to Seven Mile Beach for just a couple of bucks. Access to the beach is free, but you'll probably want to rent a chair and umbrella. Hope you have a great time!

Question from an MSC newbie; the reviews I have read have stated that pax cannot bring alcoholic beverages on board "at embarkation". Does that mean that it is permissible to bring, say, a beer or a wine bottle on board after a day in port? TYIA
The rum factory was interesting. Our cruise excursion in Puerta Plata was followed by an armed officer. We did a couple aid type excursions on the short lived Carnival off shoot that were rewarding, paper recycling and teaching English to children. We will be in port next week, the pool is nice, just saying.
Sorry I'm a little confused, you say priced at "£" a day does that mean its capped at that per day or as in best value if you olan to spend that amount per day
It's priced per day x the number of days in the cruise. For example, $46 x 7 days = $322. So, you can get as many drinks (that the package includes) as you want over the 7 days of your cruise for $322. Check your account after you book and it will have the current prices for the drink packages. You get a discount if you purchase ahead of time.

Where are you seeing that pricing? MSC has a promotion that includes easy drink package, wifi and onboard credit. In that case it would be hard to calculate just the drink package cost.

Just got off this ship.....not impressed at all. ONE complimentary dining option outside of the MDR, casino is way too small, bar staff was awful at EVERY bar (not attentive at all unless you flash that tip $$), the illusionist show was just outright embarrassing for MSC and himself, cabin attendant was pretty much absent and don't think our cabin was even cleaned on the turnaround, layout of ship was more difficult then it needed to be, the smart elevator system was hit or miss, and the MUSTER drill was an absolute nightmare. I will remain Royal to Loyal so at least I can say I tried MSC. *Side note: attaching a credit card to your cabin for onboard charges will result in a Foreign Exchange Fee at the end of your cruise. In all my cruises over all the years I have cruised I never been charged a Foreign Exchange Fee.
Hi @islandgirl3131. I think everyone hates the "smart" elevators on the Seaside class ships, LOL! We had a better experience as far as the service went. Our cabin steward was very attentive and even cleaned twice a day. I only had a problem with the bar service during the Sunshine Party when it was really crowded and we tried to go to the less crowded venues like the Brooklyn Cafe when possible. I didn't get charged Foreign Exchange fees, but maybe my card doesn't have them (some cards don't). Nothing wrong with sticking with Royal, they are a great cruise line! 🚢⚓

For my upcoming MSC cruise I bought the Easy Plus Drink package. Shows it covers beverages under $10USD. My question is, what happens when I'm ordering two drinks for myself? if I order $10 cocktail and a $9 shot of tequila at the same time. Are they going to charge me the $9? Or can I only get one drink at a time?
Did anyone else have issues ordering two drinks at a time? We had two adults in the cabin with the drink package and had no issue having one person order two drinks at once.
Your right Derrick. The bartenders get to know you and won't give you a hassle if you are ordering for your partner at the same time. I was never asked for the second card on my cruise.
How come the sail away party was in the atrium? Every cruise we've been on the sail away is on the pool deck unless bad weather. The weather looked beautiful on embarkation day. I love being on the pool deck with a cold drink for the sail away party.
I agree. I always look forward to the sail away party on the Lido deck. It was actually cool and on and off rain that day, so they must have decided to keep it inside.
If you can guide me about the process for applying for a visa for a cruise journey . Take an example as Msc world cruise 2026 . It's a 118 day long journey with multiple countries. Is there any travel agent that guide us for this process for all visas. Btw I am from India which is not boarding port
You would have to contact a local travel advisor. There are difficulties booking in the US from another country due to currency exchanges and different booking systems from the home country. The waterfall shown is a 3 hour ride away....so is misleading. Also some Beaches shown are from a different area.... another misleading information. Believe me...I live here since 30 years
Hi. Thanks for pointing that out. The video has some stock footage which may show different scenery. It's just to give you some ideas of which shore excursions you might like. The Damajagua Falls are near the cruise ports and are a popular excursion.
@joshtovar8786 I will be traveling without my husband (military), and I have a 1 year old. I was wondering if the ship has drop off times for 1 year olds or if it's a stay and play type of care. I can only find info on 3 and up.
When the ship is at sea children from 1 to 3 years old are welcome at the Mini Club for dedicated babysitting from 1 - 2 pm or 6 - 7 pm. They have Baby Time which is play time with you and other children and parents at the Mini Club PORT DAYS: Morning: 8 - 10 am / Afternoon: 4-6 pm / Evening: 8 - 9 pm AT SEA DAYS: Morning: 8 - 10 am / Evening: 8 - 9 pm. Check in at the open house at embarkation day at the Kids Clubs and they will verify the hours and how everything works.
