@MOC-locksport once u figure them out yes they're not so bad ,but man I remember when I was at green and I was dying to get an open on my commando and it wasn't till later on when I went back to it and got it lol 😅 but if u find them easier at ur stage now ,ouuuuu yeeeee that's good 💯u gots skillzz 💪😎

You should go for it. This is a really cool challenge even if it’s just for the fun of it and this lock in particular has some tricks up its sleeve that make it a good learning experience. Also, I’ve picked this lock since the recording and on average it takes me longer than my first attempt and never really faster. Sometimes it takes more than a minute, so I think there was some beginners luck involved or it was just playing nice when it was fresh out of the package. This lock seems to be trickier than you expect from 4 pins and the feedback is not like other similar locks. Which can be frustrating but also good for fine tuning your technique. After playing with it a bit I’ve put together some tips for this lock from what I learned and I’ll post them after the challenge.
@@MOC-locksport I've just uploaded my attempt. Its under my other channel, locksport101. I alerted Sandman in the comments. My time was around 1:40. After a few more attempts, my fastest time was just under 3 seconds. I've been able to get around 5 seconds pretty consistently. I'll post a redemption video in a bit😁 You should give it a few more pokes and see what you're fasted time is. I know that the competition is over but this is getting fun.
@@DirtyDeansLocklab I'm glad you posted. So far my best time is 12 seconds, but I'm averaging about 25 seconds so you have me beat on speed. I plan to post tips after the challange is done; you should too so we can give back to the community. I think Sandman would love to know that his challenge has inspired people to add to the community knowledge. This was my first video, but I think I will do more. I'm going to grab some more locks to pick from the package hopefully later this summer.
