This is my dad’s favorite song. He’s 87 and has dementia. He doesn’t remember me but if I play this song, he sings along. And I have my dad back for a little while. ❤
Please react to more BTS :) Some things I recommend from them are: BTS Festa Live 2021, Carpool Karaoke, BTS Tiny Desk Concert, Black Swan MV, Fake Love MV, ON MV, Butter MV, Stay Gold MV, DNA MV. Also, they have dance practices I recommend checking those out too. Their discography is HUGE and they’re versatile with their genres. And they have solo music as well. Their names are RM, Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga (Agust D), Jin, Jhope. There’s a guide on RU-vid called “A Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7” if you’re interested in learning more about their story and the members it’s very inspirational.
Your smile while watching is the same one I get every time I watch BTS. 😺 Loved your reaction to our boys! If you watch more, be prepared for the eventual fall into the rabbit hole. 💜💜💜💜💜
RIP to the always beautiful Olivia Newton John Born Sep 26, 1948 Cambridge, United Kingdom Died Aug 8, 2022 Santa Ynez, CA Singing with the Angels and out of pain.
This is probably one of their best songs that unfortunately did not chart very well. It spent 1 week at #39 the week of July 17,1971. It's my favorite song by them It never gets old.
Judy had a set of giant lungs on her that could knock down the walls of Jericho, and she was only 5 ft 1 in tall!!!! She could act, sing and dance with the best of them. she was a major star and the bigwigs in Hollywood treated her like shit.

Famous movie producer/director Stephen Spielberg plays the tax office clerk a the end. that cop car pile up was stunt driver's masterpiece if i eve r saw one...makes Smokey and the Bandit look like a tea party. during the jailhouse rock, the prisoner who gets up on the table to dance is famous musician Joe Walsh formerly of the band The Eagles.
You have to listen to Nina Simone and Stevie Ray Vaughn. My recommendation is Nina Simone live singing Mississippi Goddamn and Stevie live singing Texas Flood. Iconic performances.
That's right Shaka Kahn, you really know your stuff girl. The groovy song you're hearing as they drive to Elwood's apartment is Peter Gunn, the TV theme from the late 1950's detective show. the lady in the car with the bazooka and stuff is Carrie Fisher aka "Princess Leia" from Star Wars. The Nazi guy is comedian Henry Gibson...he was well known in the late 1960's, early 1970's for being a member of the comedy variety show Rowan and Martin's Laugh In, and supporting parts in movies and TV shows after ward. He was really a very sweet guy, now gone. John Lee Hooker playing outside, well known blues artist. Matt "Guitar" Murphy, famous real life guitar player, plays Aretha's man. "Rawhide" old TV Western, theme song .Clint Eastwood starred in that!
John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd were of the original cast of the famous Saturday Night Live. unbelievable but the guy handing out the belongings at the prison is Frank Oz, of the Muppets...he did may voices/puppets most famously Miss Piggie!!! Kathleen Freeman playing the nun...she had along career as a character actor and was often hysterical, you'll see her in dozens of old movies and TV shows. Cab Calloway was 72, playing the old gent at the orphanage...he was major singing star n the 1930's and 40's with his own band, played the Cotton Club, had dozens of hit records. He revived his career for a short time because of this movie. One of his biggest hits was Minnie the Moocher...i love the guy, he was a bad ass entertainer, skat singing and all. the old guy still had it, and millions of young people at the times thought he was a cool dude.
Baby girl you are such a breath of fresh air! I love your reactions to these old songs that I was raised with. You are what is called an old soul. So keep on reacting and I will keep on watching!
