Heidi I am very interested in how you manage your work planner along side your personal planners. I will be starting a part time job that also will require traveling. So will need portable work planner. However, while I am traveling will be needing to make a lot of personal appointments. I play tennis and pickleball and require making appointments constantly. I am interested in how you would manage something like this. What planners would you choose?
I have a Kinbor A5 that i journal in daily. I tip in a ton of stuff, some very thick. In June, the bump was so hard to write on. I found a trick, though. Both the hobonichi and my kinbor can take bending the spine back and flipping pages (a month or so) back to move the "middle" of the book to current pages. This allows me to write without a bump on the side of the page.
I have seen people do that and in 2023 when I was in the full year Cousin I was thinking about doing that but I was just too nervous. I know people do it without issue but I just couldn’t make myself do it. Good trick for people who do have thick planners. Thanks for sharing!!!
I have had a Cousin for 2 years now and I can honestly say it is my planner peace. I have used many different planners over the years and I will not go back to another planner. I love the Hobonichi Cousin.
I've been using hobo weeks for a planner for a few years, still love it. I'm retired so don't have a really busy life any more but it suffices for what I have going on. Especially useful for future planning, tasks, lists, and tracking, it has been a great help in my day to day. I also have a hobo A6 for daily highlights and creative journalling. I just keep it simple and that works for me.
Nice! I love when you get a planning routine down! I am really thinking this next year the A5 Avec will be everything I need…but that could 100% change once the 2025 lineup comes out! Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
I bought a passport that did not last, I got a weeks size and it is thriving. A6 full year got too chunky and got replaced with a 1/2 year A5. All are from Sterling Ink. I love that there are no colors on the pages and no foreign language taking up part of the page. I think I will continue with the A5 two parter but time will tell.
I don’t use gel ink on my tabs. I use my Muji pen and after a couple seconds the ink is dry and doesn’t smudge. I also use 0.38 size so it doesn’t put out a lot of ink which helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I use the transparent stickie notes as well and you absolutely need the UNI oil based ink pen for those transparent stickie notes. Trust me! A game changer. It dries instantly on that plasticy surface & has a small nib so you can write as tiny as you want. I get mine from Cloth & Paper and they’re like $3.
Hi, and I to also use Tomoe River books for my diary and journal and I have tried the verse magic chalk ink pads on my Tomoe river books and I find they still kinda ghost and I then have tried my tombow markers on my stamps with my Tomoe river paper and I find that the tombow markers the best for it ghosts way less
I noticed that the lighter tones of the chalk ink don’t ghost as much but the darker ones still do a little. I typically use the lighter shades so I don’t really have an issue. If I want to stamp with a darker color, I’ll use my tombow on the stamps too. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I use StoryGraph primarily and use Goodreads just for the reading challenge. StoryGraph gives a bunch of graphs and charts which I really love. Thanks for watching!
I have wanted to get Ferris wheel press ink because they are so beautiful! Maybe that will be a purchase for the 2nd half of the year. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Any mild liner users find they don’t last long? Gotta say I’m disappointed…at least in the ones I have..as the lighter ones I use in text to, well, highlight lasted a day? And it was a struggle to get that much.
I love the Avec! I don’t have to worry about the bulk the cousin has and get to set up a new planner and start fresh mid year. I don’t think in will ever go back to the full year cousin!
Oh I heart 0.38 MUJI pens and I am the same way as you *high five* I even got my son addicted to them too ☺️ It’s all he uses ☺️ Have a super great day and stay safe☺️…just subscribed ☺️
If you still want to use side tabs, you could buy foldover tabs and insert them flush to the edge of the page. I use them this way on book pages that are extra delicate. I did pick up some new leads on pens and markers, thanks!
🦷 It sucks that you went through all of that with getting a crown 😢. I got 2 of them back in 2016 and didn't have any problems with the temporary or permanent crown. After all of that, I problem wouldn't want to go back to fix the crown and would probably have asked them to just pull it at that point.
I normally don’t hate the dentist but this last year or so has been issue upon issue. Hopefully all my future appointments will be smooth again. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed 20 years ago and I remember it being so painful and uncomfortable. Hope you feel better soon! Thanks for watching!!!
You got this!! It's a lot when they are young and you work from home. My youngest is 14, so I am going to try and put him to work in my sticker shop this Summer.
Sorry for the lack of music through the sped up sections…apparently my music for demonitized for some reason and taken off. 😮 I’ll have to make sure my music is still valid right before I upload.
