wow i was just think about this after watching your other video with green skates where can i get this from. i where boost or high tops skate shoos and this will probably how much and do you have size uk 9
@@TheClewlows no!!!!! thank you for leting me know ill have to keep searching this kind of skate would help alot it will stop the change over shoes take's time
@@gavinhind2391 yeah man, I loved mine in 98 I was alot better back then, click on community on my page and there a video of me from 98 to 2000 lol, few clips with the oxygens on
Am 35 years old, used to skate in my Early teens and skating was huge back then. It was a huge part of my childhood and I don’t get how it’s hell off. There is so much style in skating but these days it’s dead. It upsets me because back in the day it was so big and dope as fuck. The greatest skate ever made was Razor Murders! So sick! I really hope it comes back one day because it deserves it!
@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE skating is back it never really went away it was just no longer mainstream, it's still massive and since covid has had a great come back in numbers, especially with us older skaters coming back for fun, get yaself back on the skates and enjoy yourself
@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE all depends where you are, maybe a fall off in your area, it's not as big as it was in the 90s, but it's on us to push it and be seen, when ever we go events it's always busy with a great turn out, it's on the rise again my friend
They're a real good skate for the price and the adjustable cuff height is a sick feature! Have you tried putting new frames on them at all? Mine got delivered yesterday and I bought some new FLT4 frames to try a flat wheel setup with them, but the front frame bolt isn't long enough to get into the soul plate and the spare Razor bolts are slightly too small to stay in place. Wondered if anyone had any issues or if was just these frames 😅
@@StuartOnWheels I've kept with the original frames for now, I always find that to many people swap things out straight away, I haven't had any issues with these frames yet, I understand swapping stock wheels out, but these frames seem pretty good, so I couldn't say about the length of the bolts for now I'm afraid, have you had a skate with the original frames to see what you think, like you say they are an extremely good value skate for sure
@@TheClewlows Not made it to the park yet but skated them around the estate when i got them for 5 mins and they feel pretty solid! No worries bro I haven't skated a flat setup in yearrrs so i got some to try out but they just didn't fit these haha
@@StuartOnWheels faredoos, you can get bolts from hardware stores and sometimes cut them to length if that helps, hope you enjoy them once you get to your local park/skate spot
@@LaLa4iZ I agree matey, the Sway was originally quite a low budget skate but has undergone improvements over the years and is now definitely an under rated skate, and this skate is a great contender in the £200 mark and as I've said alot lol, alot nicer in person
mane i really need to try an aeon. im skating the sway 58s right now. i was thinking about getting the lomax. i want to see exactly how they grind ive head bad things about the souls but now u can get sliqxfor that. i feel like im missintg out
Hi there, I'm used 5o skating shadows that have slow souls, I think the souls are only slow once skated on alot and wax build up/dirt, I've found them fine so far on the souls, I don't use the sliqs soul adapters
Hi martyn, I am starting to get alot more used to them now and I do really like them, i do get heal lift from them and I think this maybe due to having skinny ankles, but I think a 45 degree strap would fix this, I've never skated flat and the frames are definitely an incredible help to skate flat especially on coping but you notice it on ledges, but I am very impressed so far, considering I only skate once a week
Hey Buddy , I’ve enjoyed your videos quite a lot. However you have confused me with sizes quite a couple times. And now hearing more videos where you are comparing sizes , confused me and I was looking for parts that don’t exist. Like after this video, a 9-9.5 soul plate …..”U.S.” IT WOULD BE SO HELPFUL , if when you refer to sizing , you let people know that you’re in the UK because US sizing uses the same numbers . Another thing that is extremely helpful and is becoming the favorited measurement is the “mondo size” … at least let people know your in the UK, or add the other measurements , US or Mondo (centimeters) ohh and how could I forget there’s euro sizes too. I realize you can cross reference , but that only works when you know which measurement the person in the video is using. it’s just when I kept hearing 11 I was thinking US 11 , even though you mean UK 11 which is a 10 US. It confused me, and we don’t want people buying the wrong size parts !! We gotta be accurate and keep people in the sport and not waste money. Anyway Keep it up!! Just my 2cents, hope it helps. Cheers Mate! -Pauly D
Hi there buddy, thanks for the message and support, yep I totally get where your coming from, think my biggest issue is I dnt really plan the videos and end up just going off the cuff with 1 cut, I don't plan etc and just press record and go off the cuff, I always forget so much afterwards but go with it anyway lol,
@@TheClewlowshey you got back to me quick ! I reworded my initial comment , also didn’t wanna come off the wrong way. You do good videos , just make sure it ur gna do sizing and stuff like that , without saying UK will goof ppl up . I’m experienced and it’s the second time you got me with something!! And sizing is a bitch to begin with haha
@@MidLifeBlader yeah man, didn't come off the wrong way dude so all good, I appreciate you viewing my videos and giving feedback nicely, it's very kind of you, I definitely need to remember to say UK lol
@@MidLifeBlader I have to disagree buddy, the original soul plates that came with this deshi boot were a raised heal and why when I put them on seba soul plates I had massive lean back, once they were on the sway soul plates they were perfect
I wish blading was super popular, because anytime we buy skates, we just have to guess since we don't have a local store. I wish I could go thankfully, I have smaller foot so I usually buy the smallest sizes, but my husband he's on the other side of the spectrum like 11.5 so I think 45, so he has to buy the largest most times, sometimes they fit, sometimes they don't. He's never bought Roces, because of the rumors of them running a size sometimes even two sizes smaller. I only have two pair and satisfied, he's already got five pairs, and we've only been skating for three months.
I totally understand, dual sizing is such a pain when you want the perfect fit, are you both US sizing, what skates do you both currently use, drop me a message on Instagram and ile do my best to help you out with advise.
Is it feasible to leave the shoe in there when you take them off? My favorite part about the Eugin Unin ones is you can just slip your foot in there crank the straps and your good to go. No messing with laces
I've never left the trainers in a pair of shadows, I love being able to take my feet out and walk away and rive etc with no messing around, one of the best aspects about them
@rebootedurbansports only reason I leave it in there is because I also skate/bmx so it makes it very convenient to switch between activities to the dismay of my friends
My daughters a size 10c she’s 5 i wanna order her some would these fit her or do i gotta wait till her foot is bigger? Shes got the balance for it for sure she bikes , scooter, and rides my skateboard. Iv been a blader since i was 14 and really wanna get her into blading
They come as standard a size 1uk, but with the modification and thick socks, they will be a great fit for your daughter, feel free to drop me a message to chat further instagram.com/rebooted_urban_sports_shop
Hello, excellent video. I have a doubt, I don't know if you can help me! I wear size 11, my feet are 287mm. I don't know if I buy USD Sam croft 10 and 10 1/2 or buy 11 and 12. What you won would be 11 and 12? Thank you
Hi there, the 10/10.5 shell, would definitely be better for you but the liner maybe slightly to small and a bit tight, you could take out the inner soul which may help but then you may loose some underfoot comfort, but I think you would find the 11/12 boot big, unfortunately dual sizes can be such a pain
Definitely matters if you’re talking about a UK size or a US size . I skate the same Croft Pro IIIs In US you need the 11/12 Boot (biggest they make) I tried to get the 10-10.5 shell with a 280mm foot size (11 sneaker size) and it was way to tight , now I have the 11-12 shell
