Hi, New subbie here - so happy to have found you!!! I love to cook and collect cookbooks too. I see this video is 3 months old and I so hope your not going to stop your cannel. I'm going back and check out (and make) bunches of your recipes!! Your posts are awesome. I also follow you on Pinterest (where I found you). Deb 😀
I will try this for sure. Looks delicious! I love the fact it does NOT have spices in it. I DON’T care at all for nutmeg, cinnamon etc…that you often see in fruit cake recipes.
Im going to try this recipe today. I've been looking for a good sandwich bread. Does this bread hold up to a sandwich? I guess we'll see 😁 Im a brand new subscriber from NW Montana 😊 I can't wait to check out your other videos. Don't you love making bread!? Its like therapy 😁
Thanks a lit for making this video!!! I have easily 30 years looking everywhere for this particular recipe that I did when I was taking lessons as a baker but the written recipe was not given to us because it was not an original from the teacher, as all the recipes that she gave us, it was from her german boss’s coffee shop. THANKYOU!!!!
This is like my mother’s recipe but she add figs and grape juice. She found the recipe in a magazine in 1960. It is delicious. I still have her recipe. I have made for or 50 years.
