I'll never forget how broken and terrible the multiplayer for this game was at launch. really made a 13 year old me wary of future preorders and believing video game hype
@user-ks8dk2gp9l naw start with 2 if you want to play multi-player online because gears 1 is the only one without wallbouncing but start with 1 if you want to know the story

@@generalsergeancy2917 I don't know, I play in one, and when I try to start with my profile, the menu locks and leaves a sound like when a dvd gets stuck, but it's only with my profile 😣

I cant speak for snipes on me but as far as sergeancy everyone knows me even if they act like they dont ive been known in gow 2 execution for years and use to be even better than what i am now. i just only start recording though ,no i never played in any tournaments but ask any respected player by many like a God Within ,Godmoves , cali diablo , astoundings , haltflames , toyshots they all know me 😂😂 , and im for sure youre not better than snipes on me either though

I don't even know any of the people you listed so they either never stopped playing sweaty cave dwellers or like you they think they're good being top in a long dead game. I mean i get what yoyr saying bro but gears since the beginning has always been about the gnasher since gow 1 you cant make it through story mode without the shotgun , but i will say the crossair on gears 5 gnasher is trash compared to the rest , but other guns can still compete thats why i ran away from the guy with longshot in this video because its so easy to get a headshot with snipe in this game
@@generalsergeancy2917 "you cant make it through story mode without the shotgun" That is not true, infact, the gnasher is one of the worst weapons on insane, getting close to any drone is a death sentence, even with a chainsaw or a gnasher and for multiplayer, previous games had rifles that could very easily punish shotgunners that were out of cover, but were outmatched by the boltok and precision weapons, in gears 5, the only thing that keeps gnashers in check are power weapons, mainly the longshot, you can count other single shot weapons aswell such as the boltok or the embar.
@@generalsergeancy2917 Rifles were a core part of the multiplayers balance, it gave players an actual reason to use cover, not for mobilty, but for protection.
The reason i hate gears 5s multiplayer so much is because of how garbage half of the weapons are, sure, every game has one dominant strategy, thats normal, but in gears 5, if you aren't actively using the gnasher, YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE, the automatic weapons are just glorified peashooters with ridiculous recoil, it might be a skill issue, but using the same shit over and over and over again quickly becomes boring
Exactly this is what clowns don't understand about gears 2 you really have to take your time with the shot or it won't register even if it's a headshot
