@@Nomadicebikingadventures hello nomadic bike adventures I’ve been watching you on RU-vid love your videos and you have given me inspiration. I can’t make videos as often as you, but I sure do love watching yours.
"Out in the country"... That's why I'm adding a second battery to my bike. It's 15 miles to the nearest store. If I were to do any running around while in town, I wouldn't make it back with battery power.
@@ecocentrichomestead6783 one of the reasons why I got this bike was a 60 amp hour. Battery allows me to go pretty pretty much anywhere I need to go without stress.
@@RugersLastResort I appreciate it, it’s a passion of mind to actually catch one of these people doing it, but I sure won’t be posting that video, lol.
@@tekker8308 hi hope your day is going well. I found it on Amazon. It’s called the Parkvision. The only one I could find it actually has a visor on it. I believe what you’re asking about on my stem is a lock that I use when I need to lock the bike down.
Thanks for the kindness. I rode today too but something happend with my primary GoPro and it dropped on me so first time i might have to scrap a ride. Still got Shorts though. Trying to put something together from it. Nice video great scenery nice shots of the bike. I need to show it more
@@PapaPR3232 hate to hear about the GoPro. I don’t think we realize how much vibrating and jolting those things do on our bikes. I better double check mine as well. Can’t wait for your next video.
@@DestinationFawked it’s a Parkview with a sunvisor. It’s the only one I could find on Amazon that provided some kind of a sunscreen. I was anticipating having a problem with glare and it worked out well. I seem to like the camera when I remember to look into it.
Michael what you got your GoPro sitting on and how is it attached. Looks pretty solid. Looks like it’s sitting on an old carbon fiber gitzo monopod I used to have back in the day when I was a photographer.
@@mrjayd it’s just a small selfie stick. I have in its shortest position mounted to a bracket. I’ll do a video showing my accessories just so I can get you a couple of shots of that. I’m actually using two brackets to help keep it steady, but it is a GoPro 360 with stabilization. I had a problem sinking my audio on that last video which is why you didn’t see much of the picture in picture
@@RugersLastResort thank you I figured I had better step up since some of my friends on RU-vid are riding in this weather. But I must admit having thyroid disease and being unable to regulate your body temperature makes it tough on these hot days.
Hi Michael glad to see another video from you. So Aniioki is jerking me around with my order so I just canceled and ordered my wife a new H7 with the new battery and front motor. It is in stock and should be here by the weekend.
@@mrjayd hi JD hope all is going well. Sorry to hear about the Anoki order but I know you will not be disappointed with the H7. Sorry for the misspelling but Siri is messing up this morning. Lol
Morning Michael how are you? Hey question for you. Did you happen to get the baskets for both you and your wife’s bikes? Just trying to find out if the Aniioki baskets mounting holes line up with the Wallke’s mounting holes on the rack. I would like to just get 2 Aniioki racks if I could. Thanks buddy.
@@michaelsperspective3646 I am going the Aniioki fits cuz that looks like a better made basket. If you get a chance can you look at the holes on each bike and see if the holes look like they are in the same locations?
Good morning Michael, I looked into your helmets you told me about but I just didnt get in to having to hit a button to talk. I went with the Sena EVO's and they are just always on. And if you are listening to music and you talk to each other or a phone call comes in, the music just mutes. I like this one cuz everything is hands free and like Siri you just have to say "Hello Sena" and you can ask different commands.
@@michaelsperspective3646 yeah I will have to buy another DJI action cam. Got rid of my old one a few years ago. Then maybe I will post some rides. Don’t really want to get into all that post processing again but maybe just post footage straight from the camera.
@@michaelsperspective3646 hey Michael, so I went on my first 25 mile ride today with my new cloud 9 seat and boy all I can say is my ass hurts like hell. Does anyone make any better shocks for the back end of this thing?
Hi Barry, what’s going on. In this particular video I believe I am using the GoPro 360 max which I have on a small pole attached to the front of my bike so after we ride, I can determine what view I want to show in the video. It’s kind of nice because if anything happens from any direction, you’ve got it on camera just in case.
Thanks for the shout out! i just saw it. Many thanks friend. I wish there was enough time in a day to watch everyones videos. Im trying to remember without looking if there even is a 22" option in settings. I didnt do it for some reason. I dont worry too much about the speedometer. It reads 1mph higher then it should. Sometimes it takes the phones gps time to catch up
@@michaelsperspective3646 correct i believe he was saying that our wheel with tire inflated is closer to 23" but the settings only go in increments of 2 so we have to choose 22 or 24
@@michaelsperspective3646 We actually can change it to 23" i did that and rode today. It put your speed right at GPS speeds. You have to give the speedometer app time to catch up but its very very close. I have a video uploading soon that shows it
Have not tried yet but next time I pull the bike out from the bedroom to go on a ride I will definitely make that change. Love how we can all share information and benefit from no matter where we are in the world.
You always have a camera with you. Your iPhone. You should use it they take great pictures. And you should set your wheel size in the setting to 22" and your mph will match your GPS mph more accurately.
@@michaelsperspective3646 I dont know what model of iPhone you have but I still have the iPhone 13 and there is a macro lens on this model and going forward. Check it out takes some nice macro pics.
There is a intercom system built into our helmets that work through our phones. A button attaches to our handlebars that we push when we want to talk to each other. Distance does not seem to be a problem.
Top speed seems to be 32 miles an hour, but I feel it cutting out at that speed. It’s almost like there’s some type of limiter holding it back because you can distinctly feel it cut off at 32.
I certainly like it better than the stock seat. Here is the link on Amazon… Comfortable Bike Seat for Peloton... www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXRYT112?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
That vibrating noise when you throttle on 1 and 2 is coming from the headlight. I have the Wallke H6 max and that drives me crazy. If you point the light down more the noise stops . I try pointing it down witj my foor when it starts during the day.😂
The Wallke is bigger I much prefer it for me but it’s too big for my wife which is why she got the Aniioki. Skipping noise doesn’t bother me at all. Doesn’t seem to affect the bike. To be honest, I could not be more happy.
@@GiRides I haven’t needed them so I really don’t know. I do know they have several different brands and have been around for a few years. The quality of this bike is a step up above some others with their quad piston hydraulic braking system, dual suspension, mag wheels instead of spokes. I really am very pleased with this bike. I’m 6’4” and 220 pounds and it’s got plenty of torque for me.
I have the H9 but it’s way too fast on level one or two could you please tell me how you set yours up to go slower? I’m not sure how to do it. Thank you
