Suprises me that so many people hate this game…..probably WoW players and that’s ok. I can do without all of the toxicity that comes with WoW. FFXIV will forever be my favorite game! I main a warrior too. Simple tank to play but sooooo much fun. If you use your mits right, you rarely need a healer.
bro why are youy torturing youself playing with the default cross hotbar. you can change it in the settings so u can u use l2+r2 to change hotbars its much easier and u cant show both corssbars at the same time instead of having that ugly line hotbar
Final Fantasy XVI has no job to play only multiple skill from summons and Final Fantasy XV has no job aswell but you can change weapon with many variant weapons
99% of the game's expansion dungeons are far too formulaic. 2 groups of enemies, then Boss. Repeat this 2 more times and thats every dungeon ever. The base game dungeons have more unique layouts when devs where still figuring things out. Having many hallways, dead ends, optional mobs. Felt more organic back then, instead of on rails now a days.
this game would´ve been so much better if there weren´t as much colorfull abilities.. it´s too much anime-ish, and too much going on during fights. I want to play it, but this just keeps me from dedicating myself to the game :(
That’s why I like the game. Every boss has his own mechanics. Dodging the brooms, splitting dmg when he target someone and that’s just some dungeons, I don’t even talk about the primals and raids.
If that's the only thing you can complain about, then you're really reaching. Come back when you have a valid complaint that doesn't sound like it came from a 10 year old.
@Kt Draper valid complaint: I tried the game and decided all male models in the game look like some Japanese boy band attempt. The graphics aren't what I enjoy. All anime graphics makes men appear to be feminine and that's not my cup of tea.
@@Kane.Griffin Ok that's a fair point. Most anime games make guys look feminine. However, you're original comment was regarding the boss design, not the male models.
@@Wiifan5551 you told me to come back when I had a fair complaint. I've always felt that some boss designs were odd, but the avatars were worse for my taste.
The macro setup you have to easily assign buffs is insane. Did you make it yourself or is there a guide somewhere that helped you make it? I really want to set this up for myself.
you can make the macros, its simple. just put the hotbar beside the party list. for macro example: /micon Play /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4> /ac Play<4>
Agreed - I started the trial to check it out. In addition to the clunky abilities and visual spam, I don't think I will invest more time in this game after the trial is done.
Very good video showcasing the Warrior without added music or voice-over. Also I like that your camera setting isn't 50000 kilometers away from your character so I can actually see what's happening.
Hey o/ very nice video ! I was wondering, what is the add on are you using ? Getting these sounds alerts seems very helpful. Lately i'd wish to try out tank, especially warrior, but getting *all* the damage kinda scares me x)) it could really help me i guess, btw i'm healer atm. Anyway, have a nice day o/
Learning how to play astrological here, so I'm watching videos! Too scared to play healer in a dungeon though. Your gameplay is so smooth! And your macros are such a good idea
Dude give up on playing a Dragoon cause you really suck at it and learn to play a different role but what am I saying you would suck ass at those roles too
That card hotbar on the right side looks brilliant! Are those macros assigned to each party member position to deploy different card options? If so could you possibly share them and explain how they work? From the looks of it, it’s far more efficient than standard setup
@@TheGreatArtichoke yes they are macros assigned to each party member, so i dont need to click on the party member to use my card buff.. just press the macro and done.
@@shaydesofblue2281 For now you just need to do Main Story Quest (MSQ) the exp from MSQ is big so just complete them until the last expansion Shadow bringer u will hit lvl 80
Remember to favor Afflatus Solace over Tetra and Afflatus Rapture over Assize, to feed the Blood Lily. I know it's a toss-up with Assize since it also deals DPS and you're trying to max out DPS, but it takes 2+ Assize to equal an Afflatus Misery (super close in timing hence the toss up) but there are scenarios in this video where you can burn a lily (i.e. use it even though the party doesn't need the healing) just to get more blood lilies.
@@andisgaming88 I started playing only recently, got warrior to 50, then bard and white mage to 30, now want to try summonner/scholar. Dont like them holding a book though :p
@@Kvothe1994 ah your first class is a tank, there are 3 other tank jab, paladin, dark knight and gunbreaker. summoner and scholare are a fun job, you'll love it beside how their hold the books heheh
@@andisgaming88 thanks for the answer sir, I come from wow and it seems similar there too, but the flashy visuals and unfamiliarity here caused me confusion and generated a more laborious thought process to interpret such mechanics as for healing, do you only use aoe spells? or do you need to click in that tiny frame at the left? Is there a mouseover addon to add that functionality like in wow?
@@Fepers24 no worry, heheh oh that tiny frame is main menu button. and yes you can do macro on this game. u can find it on main menu then choose macro. if u want to create a macro there is a video guide how to create macro on youtube
