Some respect for you to do the challenge all the way through despite that it wasn't completely necessarily at the end. Never yelled about the T, just sat and waited until you noticed it.
First should've been your first thought. xD It was my first thought when you put RST at the end. And the look on your face at 2:57 xD Looks like my pause timing on facial expressions has found a new target. Edit: xD You thought of SHRED right after I did. And TEARY? We're reading each other's minds. xD You put the A 4th right after I was wondering why you weren't, then you thought of GROAN right after I did. That was a lot of fun to watch! ^_^ Thanks
LOL, Ghostbusters was so much fun, with a stellar performance by Sigourney Weaver. Two errors for me. My favorite Monopoly item was the Community Chest. The money was fun too but my family went totally digital in the late 1970's or the early 1980's: each player's balance was kept in their own calculator. No cash needed.
Excellent solve! Five for me too. Only two bonus words this week: OCTAD and BALSA. I erred in trying OCTAL. I erred in another game this week by trying BALSA which isn't on the answer list of that game and wasn't even possible; the correct word was BASAL.
This is so much easier without your challenge! Fibble #912 3/8 🔥🔥🔥 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ CHASM (C lie) 🟩🟨⬛⬛🟨 BLACK (L lie - know there is no A) 🟩⬛🟩⬛🟩 BULLY (2nd L lie) 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
I would have found this much easier if i had done this after watching that squardle 24 video and was prepared to accept that octad was a word :) i think i still got 7
According to wordle calcle, the only only word after Qajaq with the yellow A that will fully guarantee to guess it is Blast, in hard mode, every other word, there is a very very low possibility you could fail, and its funny, after Stare it recommends Drain as the best guess, and after Chair you were down to Braid, Brain, Drain, Grain, Frail, Grail, you guessed Frail which got rid of Grail as well, so then you were in a 1/4 with Graip being an unlikely, but Braid was the best guess to guess cause it would guarantee the answer in 6, if you guessed another word like Drain or Grain, you would still have to 50/50
Wordle 1,197 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ROUTE ⬜🟨🟩🟩⬜ SNAIL ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 GRAIN 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 BRAIN After 2 guesses, there were only 3 possible answers: BRAIN, DRAIN, and GRAIN Current Streak = 977
Got it in 5 in Hard mode. 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛cHASM (gonna use both C and S) ⬛⬛⬛⬛🟨SCOUr (At least one lie in C proves no S) ⬛⬛🟨🟨⬛CRIeD (C twice gray deprioritized it) ⬛🟩⬛⬛⬛FIlET (Lie in E, proves I is in word) ⬛🟨⬛⬛🟩TiNNY (guessing lie in yellow I, sets green Y) 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩(I guessed BILLY over piggy, willy, zippy and perhaps bilby)
For a while now I've felt like it would be a good idea to start with words that have two of the same vowel in order to locate them better. So, something like CANAL, TENET, MINIM, DONOR, MUCUS (although that's a lot of n's in the middle)
I personally love prepositions as they can impact the meaning of certain verbs. For example, if I say, "I believe him," it implies that I am trusting him. But if I say, "I believe IN him," now it's referring to a belief and faith. Another example is "Look over," meaning to review. "Look into," to research. "Look at," to percieve with eyes. "Look for," to search. A verb's meaning can be multiplied by the use of prepositions!
Brilliant solve! I made eight mistakes but I eventually got them all. I had an interruption so it technically took me a lot of TIME to complete this puzzle. Now it's TIME to go to my CD RIP archive and listen to "Too much TIME on my hands" by Styx.
