This was the last show when Rob pulled the plug on Pendulum for a while. The show was awkward and fans were waiting for Beyoncé. 2023 and they are BACK.
He did very well singing this live, even with his mic altered. Note: I studied music in high school, it is MUCH more difficult to sing live with an altered mic because if he sings wrong in any way, the warp will come out very wrong.
Isn't he using a vocoder normally? Or is there actual autotune, compression, reverb etc. It doesn't sound that autotuned to me and definitely does not sound compressed at all. A vocoder and autotune aren't the same at all
@@JameyMcQueen yeah, true, tbh I don't know how he processes his vocals live, his voice sounds a lot more raw here compared to some other performances because I think the audio engineer for this show fucked up the mix here (which is also why the guitars sound like shit). I think he uses a vocoder but I don't think it's fixing his mistakes you can check out his crush performance in the download 2011 festival in the main high note Chorus where he clearly strains his voice a little to belt out that high high note in the last part before the ending he even loses his fight for a second there. overall I do think he is hitting notes most of the time It was still an amazing performance don't get me wrong. Anyways what do you think
Such a fucking dead crowd, you lot need to be put down your so shit.. Thats fucking pendulum and your not moving.. Ik its seven years ago lets hope they get a crowd for their comebacks, i was at nass and it was huge
Smart thinking i do similar, that acoustic riff in here is off the charts seems simple, i play high level acoustic chords i think this guy and guy from kooks are no1/2, untouchable when you try emulate simple riffs
