Deflecting hardtear basically turns the game into Sekiro for 5 minutes. It allows you to take 0 damage if you block (even with a weapon!) at the exact moment that an attack lands. Also, cragblade was basically just for extra damage since I didn't think any other AoW would be useful, although I'm probably wrong about that.
Second phase is probably the coolest dragon fight FromSoft has ever done. Also the only fight where it really felt like you were RL1, even with the Dragon-Hunter's katana still felt like you were slowly chipping away. I thought the use of Dragonwound Slash @3:54 was high risk and how did you not die @1:59. Bravo!
Looking back at it, yeah the attack at 3:54 definitely was risky lol. And for 1:59, you have active i-frames for a while after you're hit and on the ground, so I intentionally stayed on the ground until I knew I could get up and roll the next attack safely.
@@Confury That's interesting. I thought the recover / standup animation after a knockdown took a random amount of time. Didn't know you could control it. Big brained play ;)
This is what happens when Centipede Demon and Malenia have a baby. A neat iteration on Quelaag / Scorpioness Najka. Felt like you got robbed of the critical attack @0:41
You gave Messmer mommy issues lol. This guys has so many different moves. I really like the attack @0:45. Was the second phase was easier for you? Looked like you really punished all of the serpant attacks.
He doesn't gain many new attacks in phase 2 outside of the snake attacks, plus he leaves himself vulnerable after a lot of the snake attacks, so yeah I'd say it's easier.
Nanaya in shambles. I love how while you're showing off your shieldless build there's a player ghost in the background hiding behind a Fingerprint Stone poking away with a Miséricorde lol.
I'm sad there is no backstabbing on this Fang Boar :) The "Psycho Crusher" move took me by complete surprise. Curious why you use Star Fist for this fight? Well done!
Star Fist is arguably the best RL1 weapon because of a combination of its inherent bleed, fast charged heavy attacks which can stagger bosses quickly and easily, and just general good damage alongside being able to infuse any element on it. Only downside is the crappy range. Thanks for watching :)
This boss looks like Gaping Dragon, Astel and some Fingercreepers had a baby. I really enjoy the critical attacks into the urethra.... errr... tip of that big floppy "thumb"
Well played! I really enjoyed Romina, but I get your frustrations. That curl-up, three hit body swing she does felt inconsistent for me, and I ran Vow of the Indominable literally just for it
I agree with you! Also, for this game (Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s), from here on out, got its stuff earlier used for Guitar Hero 2 for the dramas here, you know
@@JadenBogartTheGAVIntroStyler61 What are you saying? Eruption never was in those game, about HMX made copypaste of GH2 it's true but the other thing not
@@luckyxtension700 What I am saying is that that copypaste of GH2 from HMX was actually the game seen in the video, which is GH80s, honestly! Plus, yes it is true that GHVH has this song, like my bro said, you know
@@JadenBogartTheGAVIntroStyler61 Yeah,it's the same beautiful sh1t...you can put GH2 things in 80's and viceverse, same with GH Rock Stars custom and others, only here changed the setlist, with bad charts...what did you expected from a 2009/2011 custom? Ha
@@luckyxtension700 Speaking of GH Rock Stars, that is Sr. Ashelrod's ISO that features songs from GH1, GH2 and GH80s (even though all three of them, except for the first one, have the same stuff, as I said), you know
Not only that, but wow, Leonard Money (who made his Miranda character), FilbertTheVyonderBoy2K4, Infrarain, KyansWorldCartoon (Kyan Younger) and Larsson Younger all have told me about this game (Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s)'s stuff earlier being used for Guitar Hero 2 on this simple, unmatched and noticed idea for the record crew also, bro
I agree! Plus, even though this was not involved as DLC here, this game (Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s) got its stuff earlier used for Guitar Hero 2 too, bro
Me too! Also, just as Russell Sterling Dyer said even after that glitched up custom bathroom fact here, this game (Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s)'s stuff was earlier used for Guitar Hero 2 (which has this band's "Thunderhorse") as well, you know what I mean
This game has some serious balancing issues. In way, it was a relief to find out the latter half of the races were so easy, but really, there shouldn't be such disparities. Anyhow, I'm done with the races. I've conquered one of my banes from childhood!
Wow, that was almost insultingly easy! I got it on my third try, I think. Not really a good thing to be honest. Why are the regular races so challenging compared to the reversed ones? Who play tested this and why is it so unbalanced?
You got a bit sloppy there and still beat the record by 5 seconds. Gives me hope that this one will be a bit easier than the others. Edit: Indeed pretty easy. That one turn is pretty nasty and the racers are more of a bother. It's actually possible to get silver and not finish first, which never happened with the other races.
Got it! Compared to the first two stadium races and the street one, this one felt like a walk in the park. It's not like a got on the first try, but it took maybe an hour an half compared to 3-4. The main difference, I think, is that getting ahead early is quite easy and can be achieved consistently. In the class 2 race, in particular, I'd get ganged by the pack at the very start nine times out of ten. So, I wouldn't even get a fighting chance most of the time. Also, no jumps, so instant deaths are much more rare. I suggest letting off of the gas for a second during the jump at the end of the track, so you don't smash at the wall. It's also useful for the first shortcut. I never used the break. Just released the X button for a second at strategic places.
"Took 10+ tires to get gold." Dude... It took me like 4 hours to get gold on the class 3 race. I'm just getting started with this one. Edit: Got it! It felt a little easier than the first two stadium races, but it still took me some 3h of practice, so I'm not sure. I found that you can actually afford to slow down a bit on a couple of the nastiest turns. Particularly the last 90 degree one.
I finally did it! It took me about 3-4 h of practice 😂 I don't know if I'll have the patience for all of them, if it's gonna be just as hard or harder. Either way, I'm happy I managed even the first one. Back in the day I used to think it was simply impossible. I couldn't even pull off the shortcut jump. I gotta say,I'm enjoying the game better than expected. Out of the three, it was the one I was least looking forward to revisiting.
It's a good thing I thought to look up a video. I might have wasted a couple of hours without realizing there's an update for the gun you're supposed to get first.
Yeeaah, I know this video is 13 years old, but something that isn't touched on is that you get more points the quicker you destroy the targets. That's why it feels easier once you learn all the spawns, because you're able to pop them for maximum points before they're even fully raised.
