I remember I saw them around this time on the Tom Syder show. They performed an amazing version of Burnin for you. Then Snyder interviewed Buck & Eric. Maybe Allen was there too. I can’t remember.
I got the 45 of Bears/One More Chance a couple months ago. Saw Zebra in Nashville & got it signed. Noticed it in the video & figured I’d comment. Great music & really nice guys.
I saw Zebra last October (one of a few times, starting back in 1980). I'm going to New Orleans to see them again in November. Check out the 1978 Zebra Workshoppe Demos I uploaded as well!
@@mlbloverock I’ve been a fan since ‘83, but last month was the 1st time I saw them live. Did the meet & greet. Awesome experience. I’ve seen most of the work shoppe video. Really like the stuff you post. Thanx for taking the time to do what you do
@@PatrickWestcott Thanks! Can you think of any other rock group from 1975 that is still around, still touring, still with all their original members and can still rock today? I can't!
Let's be honest: George Harrison and Eric Clapton had to have a VERY good friendship for it to survive Clapton sleeping with and marrying Harrison's ex-wife Pattie Boyd...
Zebra is touring right now. I have tickets for Nov in New Orleans. facebook.com/groups/4594149237 No Canadian Tour Dates in 2024. Zebra mostly go between New York and New Orleans, and sometimes California. thedoor.com/#tour
If you've once been bitten by the Heep'ster bug it's for life. I've been a Byron era fan, for 50+ years and imho the bands hay days finally ended with Abominog, the first album without Ken Hensley (RIP). Heep'ster forever ☮️❤️🎸
Vielen Dank an Euch.
~~ This show was in mid-June 1981 - so still the original line-up with Albert Bouchard on drums - too bad it did not stay that way for much longer - and not taking anything away from Rick Downey - he did a great job stepping into the job on very short notice ..
Glad to hear it. Music has incredible power when real emotions are channeled during it's creation. This is one of the very best dealing with dying and loss of someone, or thinking about yourself. I take it day by day, knowing there are greater things than we know. God bless you too.
