Great video!!!! I have a 98 e320 and may have to do the same due to no cold air and the fan blower air speed being inconsistent. I ran the climate test and got the following codes: B1419 B1459 B1422 B1227 B1231 B1235 In your opinion does this warrant a complete evac of the system and compressor replacement? If so, any suggestions on where to purchase the parts and a recommended video for the system evac?
I have a ‘97 SL500 R129 and I’m having trouble with the convertible top operation. I’m in western North Carolina (south of Asheville), do you know of anyone that can repair these tops?
Hey, I’m about to do the same job. Just curious, where you got your A/C o-rings? The larger o ring that goes on the low pressure side that mounts to the compressor seems to be a large diameter.
2000 SL 500 I have this same problem. Also my turn signals do not cancel after a turn. Will tightening this fix that as well or do l need a new switch? Thanks for the great video!
Might be because you dont have the automatic clitmate control which was quite an expensive upgrade back in the day. You probably got the one with two big dials and two temperature wheels
Dear sir, Does anyone know Mercedes w220 s320 2000 model have CGW( central gateway module) I search under steering well, below accelerator pedal form mat still I can’t find that module I read a post that. Preface lift car don’t have it EIS DOES THIS JOB IS THAT RIGHT??

I may make a video on it in the future. You need to get one end of the springloaded part in the metal bracket, then push hard on the other side and it will pop back into place. The spring is very strong.
Haha, I did the exact job on my e55 2 weeks ago, but I also change the drier and expansion valve all together, now she is cold. Might a little bit irrelevant, but these days I found the car got fan/air/hissing noise when it’s under light acceleration, I’m rather new to the car, don’t know if it’s normal sound for car with viscous fan or it’s something else?
Hey mate, i'm just about to do mine, I did my drier earlier, but found later my compressor was leaking faulty, hopefully it didn't damage my drier, but should be fine! Mines a 98' 55 :)
I've also replaced the rear regulator. It's not too bad. It is riveted in so you will have to drill out the rivets, but other than that pretty straightforward.

you actually did great job.. but it still hard to follow you while recording in one hand and pointing with the other...you are asking the viewer to imagine things and make sense with effort.. you didn't show the actual procedure because you performed it offline (for example; no clip for actually taking the seat cover off) .
