You definitely should have switched sides because EVERY VICTORY was pulling to the left. Seems like the field wasn't really very flat. I declare a rematch is in order.
I’ll be doing a full walk around soon! The build has progressed quite far, and after some trimming and cutting, the 37s fit fully. Being so wide, my setup did take some proper work to fit, but I’m currently at about 1.5” lift and it is 99% rub free offroad. A small spacer lift helps lower the bump stops so you don’t hit the fenders and pop off the flares like I did in that video.🤙🏼
They are both stock? This is a uniquely LR problem. If you compare it to a GX with a lift off road and then to a Mercedes GLS unlifted on road the LR comes off worse in both tests while the centre piece of its on/off road compromise solution does not earn its due applause. In fact, in many cases reviewers recommend replacing the adjustable air suspension with none adjustable springs as they are "unreliable". This would be like removing form the LR the low transfer case, C/D lock, lightening to a lesser duty the suspension and chassis so it could better perform against the GLS on the road and calling it stock
Air suspension is what makes them special and reliable if maintained people let the substrate go and it takes the pump wirh it, but they're durable and make the ride awesome. Ive done springs before its not bad but you'll have some body roll. Nothing beats my stock fj cruiser trd 6 speed with a supercharger hands down more fun throwing into corners with the permanent awd keeping it planted and going through the gears, then off road great all rounder. The Red trd shocks have a great Baja like feel and good manners on road as well, soft where it matters and mo crazy dive wirh oem rake.
