The coolant ate that up? I thought the coolant was on the inside of that tube. Did it eat from the inside out? I bet the heater core is in nice condition.
Yeah, so over time, the hoses get weak and coolant sneaks through there. And from being so old, the coolant corroded that pipe. That is also bad for the heater core. They get corrosion, too, and start to leak.
Respectfully. the only thing i don't particularly like about this video, it was helpful, but everything was sped up and for someone that may not know what to look for or what to do... speeding up can make it not nearly as helpful as your content could be.
Man I got the same malfunction on my dash and you helped me out with the little screw to loosen the turn signal light. I was intending on taking the whole headlight out😂😂😂
That's just someone who thinks they will get there car done before everyone else because they put it in the bay figuring you will just get there's in first "since it's halfway there already"
Ok to be clear…. Even if there are *NO* parking spots you never pull into the bay until told to. In addition to the insane safety issues, that’s a mechanics office and you don’t step in uninvited
I had a coworker that would yell at them and tell them to park in a parking spot before they got out of the car. Nothing worse than a customer blocking your bay and wasting time while you’re doing your job.
I changed the oil in my 2013 tundra at 98k im at about 104k check it about once a week to ensure level is still good and its still clean not dark at all
Haha 😄 yeah I was doing oil change and recommended oil pan gasket, customer took forever to decide so I had to drain the oil again when they okayed the work.
Mahle bought Behr a long time ago. When this happened, they most likely modified the molds, and on existing stock had the logo removed. Those molds are 6 figures, and a few grand to modify, so until that is done this is what happens.
@@TheYoungdx3freshI spent 30 years in the auto industry from engineering to estimating and finance. Molds are EXPENSIVE, so they are built to shoot so many shots per year for program life in general. That means not a lot of "lets take this off-line and spend a week getting it to look all pretty again when we remove that logo". MUCH cheaper to take the summer worker or entry person and have them remove them when they go off the line. LOL.

Most likely a 2 or 4 cavity, and it was probably made from S7 tool steel...matter of fact, I know a very similar part for a different company was made with S7 tool steel, was 4 cavity and was a BIG mold. As for $300 for that part? Yea, that's the 'aftermarket' and 'customer service parts division markup'. That part is less than $20 to actually make (WITH overhead, labor, burden, Profit, ED&T, Scrap, and SG&A). Same company screaming at the auto companies that they will 'go broke' selling at such low prices are making more money than the auto companies are (percentage wise).
It took about an hour, and no. That will not trip that code. The only other thing that will trip that code is the oxygen sensors but other than that it would be the catalytic converter. @krakenhits1587
