The Sandhill Crane family, Canada Geese, Great Blue Heron, Mallard, Wood Duck, Bald Eagle, and a Great Egret made this visit quite special indeed. I'm glad you stayed a while to capture all those special moments with the birds and waterfowl. Thank you, Ferris! 🦆
It was so nice to see the Common Nighthawks in flight. Also, seeing the Osprey with a fish was good. Thank you for sharing these moments in time, Ferris. I loved the slo-mo, too.

Red tailed hawks (Buteo Jamaicencis) is really similar to the European Buzzard (Buteo Buteo) Buzzard is what we in Europe call a large hawk. We have a lot of them in the UK.
Bald eagles are not going through the best of times . Firstly, some YT videos put them against Golden Eagles, then someone shows a giant vulture taking off her a carcass, and now those infamous pesky Canadian geese interrumpt her hunting. 😉😬

I was thinking Downy and realized the little male had leucistic colouration. They are a great find, and really sweet when they stick their little heads out.
