I picked up a HSM DS-200 from an estate. It powers on, and boots up, but I don't know the username or password. Is there a code or something I can do to factory reset it, so I can test it?

Ahhhh Josh you did not tell us everything we need to know about this safe...............such as how to you access the batteries when it's locked and the batteries are dead???????
Actually it was designed to destroy punched paper tape, punched with digital data. They were used to destroy the key tape used for Vernam ciphers in cipher machines along with the plain text tape.
Bought the AutoShred microshredder and it worked for 3 sheets of paper before it quit. I'm not exaggerating on that, 3 effin sheets of paper and it motors won't turn at all.
I purchased it a month ago and it was quiet and work great until I tried pushing the button to replace the staples. The button is stuck and I can't get it to bulge. Swingline is replacing it under the 7 year warranty.
