This recipe looks easy to make but I will need to double recipe so I will making 24 for a party so I was hoping to make pastry shells day before and place in fridge and make filling next day so is this ok to do? Also I'm concerned about doubling the filling ingredients and your recipe states 1 cup sugar so I feel 2 cups sugar is far too much??

But what parts of the beef are you using? You know they are using the cheapest and nastiest cuts and waste parts, that’s what gives the sausage its flavour. Doesn’t taste anything like it if you use regular beef mince instead of sausage mince
This chilli sauce recipe is absolute fire! Amazing tasting - way better than the Oporto version. Followed the recipe, then once cooked added an extra garlic clove and chilli so it retained some fresh flavour.
Uk resident here. Can someone give me the recipe as I can’t seam to get it from website as geo blocked here. Loved Oporto when I was in Australia last and would die for this recipe! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
