I am able to complete tier 4 now with some difficulty as I am a Runekeeper in the yellow line. Doing that system has given me most of my purple gear that I need to get myself decent stats - especially as a main healer. They are harder as you go up and you need to be sure that you know your stuff. I will agree that if you're a ranged toon you will get alot of hurt and die multiple times before you're able to do stuff. I was able to keep up as a yellow Runekeeper as she's mobile and she doesn't stay in one spot. I think that's also the key to reiterate what Zollin said, you'll also be removing poisons constantly.
just started playing today, ive been sifting through your guides and they've been a huge help! I ended up making a elf champion lvl 3 so far. debating if i should get the VIP or not the 3 month is $30 which seems like the best deal
A very useful and comprehensive video, showing the versatility of this amazing game, thank you 👍 one addition about skirmishes that will be useful for new players - you get a skirmish soldier to help you finish the skirmish successfully, and you can also summon the skirmish soldier on the normal terrain/landscape, to help you with some more difficult quests (on lower levels), like elite NPCs! You can power up your skirmish soldier using the marks and medallions you getting by playing skirmish.
Great video! Just to expand on one detail of terminology: The term “instance” refers to a shared space, a version of a locale which is exclusive to a single player or a particular group of players and is distinct from the fully shared game world. The word itself means, “an example or single occurrence of something,” which is why the word was adopted as a broader term for dungeon in MMOs like LOTRO. In some cases, certain areas of the fully shared game world are instanced on an ad hoc basis to address potential overcrowding and server load, LOTRO calls this type of instance a layer. Besides all the different types of instances covered in this video, and layers, all the housing neighborhoods are instances as well. Any talk of instances makes me excited for the downscaling system which is expected before the end of this year! It will be so nice to be able to put together groups of players with characters of all different levels and not be limited to Epic Battles.
Whhoops did not mean to run right behind you during the vid. I was actually on my way to level up my Mariner. Thank you so much for the endgame stuff as I'm just getting into the delving system. I've been doing delvings tier 3 so yes they do get harder and harder as yo go up hehe
@@VoiceoftheRings Ack! You're braver than me! I did hit a tier 4 pretty well on my Runekeeper with no essence slots and I forgot to fill them before fighting the missions. I was promptly reminded - quite painfully - that essences really do matter endgame and that you want each hole filled.
He is a big boy. He is 85 to 90 pounds. Should get bigger in weight now that he is full grown in height. Sheep dog fill out from 2-5 years old. Get to full size
Hey, man. Just wanted to let you know I really appreciate everything you do for the LOTRO community. I'm new to the game and your content is extremely useful. It helps you have great vibes too <3
You don't feel shame for reviewing cash shop items for a game that has a subscription model and everything is pay walled? Your part of the problem with this game.
Are you aware that they haven't raised the subscription prices for the game since it came out? Where every other MMO and game has made their monthly subscription 20 plus dollars now? 🤣 Please Don't ask gotcha questions in a comment unless you know your info. I also completely support the game making awesome new cosmetics that have nothing to do with game play pay to win and everything to do with just supporting the game and giving extra content to people who want it. There's a lot of players who want to buy stuff like this. And let's be clear lotros prices are completely reasonable compared to every other game genre on the entire market. Every other MMO that has a subscription based has this. The very same thing but on a worse level and many are pay to win. And I'm not jabbing at any of them. They can make that choice. but It's not like you have to buy these on lotro... It's just extra. I also think the supporter packs are super fun extra cosmetic stuff. So, do I support reasonable price new cosmetic stuff in a game that has kept their subscription price the same for 17 years And you don't even need to be a subscriber to play the game since they're free to play system is the best there is of any classic MMO. That has better and fair prices then any of games, of the hundreds I have played in the last 17 years? Yes, yes I do. Thanks for your gotcha comment. Good day sir.
The very reasonable pricing policy of the game is one thing. Promoting micro transactions (pay-to-win or not) in a disguised add is another thing. Even though here you support a small studio by buying these, micro transactions are and will always be one of the most shameful practices in the gaming industry, and not having any kind of warning or reminder of this feels weird. Your video makes it seem like it's all good fun, but there is a lot at stake here, and it's too easy to not mention it. It's not because "many people want to buy this" or that "other games have them" that it makes them a good thing and that all studios should include them. As a content creator it's too easy to put all of the responsibility on people, as you already influence them by only showcasing the "good" aspects of these cosmetics, and not putting any warning or reminder of what buying these means. I don't know how much Standing Stones needs this too finance themselves, but anyway people should always be reminded of what buying micro transactions means. What about people that are under 18, or people that struggle with managing their money and are compulsive buyers ? Anyway I don't want to start a drama here, just think it's good for everyone to ask ourselves this kind of questions. Have a nice day everyone, keep loving the game, especially it's FREE aspect, it's your money be careful with it.
@@VoiceoftheRings 20? what other mmo are you paying that asks you for 20 bucks a month lmao, this games sub is actually a few bucks more than any other. Nice review tho you literally look like the soy guy meme pointing the finger for a green effect lmao.
I was hoping they'd add a squish to classic instances to give max level players incentive to group up with newbs. IMO this game was better when you couldn't just DPS your way through it...heals, crowd, Control, and tanking.
Never seen how the movement emotes worked before! Always wondered how you did that whimsy walk! I like the dragon-pipe-return skill the best out of all the items in the goodie bag.
Hi, I was following the guide for BFME 2 and got to the part with the patch setup, and right after selecting the desktop icon part of it I got a massage saying "Setup error, could not read setup package" what do I do?
I don't think you select the desktop icon until you've done the update patch. Which should be a separate download I believe. If you did every step that I show in the video.
i have a question, why is it asking from me that i need to burn it on the disc? After I press run when download is completed it demands me to burn, pls help I am struggling with this for an hour and cant find a way to solve it,for bfme 1 specificaly, and I watched your video on rumble but you didnt mention that
You using my "full version video"? I explain that and what you have to do. It sounds like you didn't download the next part with the patcher or updates. Did you do ALL THE steps I showed in video? Sounds like you skipped that step.
One tip is to use Reshade to fine tune your graphics even more. It might be nice to have some more HDR like images and ambient occlusion might be also possible to adjust.
Oh man I’m gonna have to play again. I put a ton of hours in at launch but I couldn’t progress because of a bug with no drake spawns. This sandbox mode looks awesome. I always used 3 torch’s at entrances to rooms that were clear or dead ends so I wouldn’t get lost haha
NO. It only is on the character and server you bought it on, But it is able to be shared between your characters through your shared storage. But only on the server you bought it on. But it is nice via crafting ingredients in one and you can send it to one of your alts on the same server through your shared storage.
I just noticed a small error in the spoken khuzdǔl-language at 45:50, one dwarf says “tafka Durin”, but the subtitle says “takfa”. Sorry for the nitpicking 😅
ACK! I missed it! I can't believe I missed the second one. I'll see ya in game later. Thank you for the mention! Signs would definitely be nice to label. Now if we had another female dwarf that would be cool too! But the ratio would still be correct since Tolkien specifically stated that female dwarves make 1/3rd of the race and even less want to settle down and have a family. Maybe we will see little dwarf children running around in Moria ☺️
Currently giving LOTRO another shot after bouncing off it a couple of times - I'm a completionist/achievement driven player for the most part which is quite a challenge with a game as big as LOTRO! (not necessarily a bad thing) Am currently level 21 in Bree-Land (Barrow Downs atm) after doing pretty much all the content I came across in The Shire. One thing that I do find a little annoying is having multiple quests that are trying to direct me to the same area as far as I can tell, I have 3/4 atm which are all essentially telling me to go to Bree, which feels a bit unnecessary and bloats the quest journal a bit. I'd also like to be able track more than 10 entries on the tracker/map - bit annoying having to think about which ones I need to hide then remembering to unhide in that region etc. I think there is some streamlining they could do, think unwieldy is probably a bit harsh as most quest regions seem to dovetail onto each other quite well so far, but would be nice to have a bit of a cleaner journal experience.
Usually you only do a certain area until you're the right level and then you move on. So if you did every single quest area you found that's probably why you have so many pointing you just same area. They want you to get to Bree because that's kind of the main hub of the entire start of the game and that has the main story chapters with gandalf and aragorn. It's pretty important. I'm glad you're giving the game another try.
@@VoiceoftheRings yeah that makes sense, understand being a completionist isn't necessarily the typical player approach so it's probably more of a me problem, but still would be cool if they could merge the go to X location quests in some way. Yep am enjoying it, have to say it is a fantastic representation of Middle Earth, feels like it's been built by people that understand the lore well. Thanks for all the great video content as well 😊
Humm. That is weird. I've never heard of that, you are clicking to keep on and then clicking the key you want? That almost sounds like a file problem or something. I'm not sure with out seeing it.
@@VoiceoftheRings i have no idea next time i try this ui save what you show in the video, but my game doesn’t make the lotro.keymap file, maybe thats the problem, i try to look for some solution soon
Man the server launch for me didn't happen. I had to work Saturday and then I have so much stuff going on today, work tomorrow and busy week ahead too. Sucks I only got the tutorial done and couldn't play. May just have to stick with normal servers I feel like I'll be behind already for legendary server 😢
Don't forget they're going to be adding the 64-bit to all the servers! So you'll get the experience the new awesome update in that way no matter what. Also I do plan to play on the new server but I'm not going to put all my time into it I'm going to be mainly playing on my main server of crickhollow. Cheers
@@VoiceoftheRings that is true, although I am not sure the nazgul event will transfer. My main is arkenstone now a days. Use to be brandywine 2010-2016 then I switched.
I would have never tried the delete button…..1000 hours and I’ve been losing my mind selecting items on the ground lol I knew it existed because I play DDO as well and that q, thanks
