Kool videos. I run a jigger pole also and I’m trying to plan a road trip down your way to do some fishing. Where are y’all fishing in Florida if you don’t mind me asking?
I'm 52 yrs old and I've been jigger pole fishing since I was about 10yrs old when my dad showed me how to. There is no other style of fishing like it. Explosive and exhilarating all rolled into one. And you can catch some PIGS doing it. And you're never ready for the explosion. Jigger poled so much some mornings that my forearm muscles burned, but so worth it. If you've never tried it you should, it's a blast. And so simple. Great video guys.
Great video's. You are my go to place for information. Question... Crescent Lake area near Satsuma Fl.. someone said no need to try for January Crappie if the grass shrimp have not move in yet. Anything to this statement? Thanks
Thx Bud, yes crescent is good any time of the year! Right now I would focus on the north east area called the narrows. It gets deep there , fish the drop offs where the narrows start and end. Are you familiar with that area?
I’ve put in at Trader’s Hill many a time over the years. We Florida boys would go to Folkston and get our Georgia out of state licenses. The Georgia Law absolutely LOVES to give out fines to Florida Crackers. The FWC never cares what side of the river people are from as long as they have a current license.
You guys should make a video of your set up. I kinda do some stuff like that,but with a straight pole. You guys got something going on with, what lioks like a jig pole,with a bobber or indicator between the eyes.
