Cool thanks I found mine wasn't connecting because I connected the Mac to the USB-C port on the Insta360 mic adapter which does not seem to allow data through, I removed it and it works fine
Great review! Do you moonlight as a lounge singer? I have owned my pair of Hesh ANCs for almost a year now. The battery life is very short - 22 hours listed. They are a very tight fit on my 23" head. The headband padding is very thin. I love the overall look with the matte rubberized finish and skull logo. I wish the earcups were slanted at a slight angle rather than straight in line with the headband. Their sound profile is exactly as described - bass heavy and can get rather muddy depending on song and source. I don't like that they default to Noise Cancelling on when powered on.
Got these for a 100 bucks not too long ago and I see that they are still going for 100 which is a great deal for bass heads. I suggest always going movie mode since there is a lack of EQ in the app.
any headphones or earbuds that has alot of famous people endorsing it is generally crap in sound quality. good quality gear does not need endorsements, the brand itself sells like bose, sony, sennheisers plus few others. before raycon came into scene with all the endorsement adds, noone ever mentioned this brand.so it cant be good. people get sucked into this marketing hype, seams way too meany for the company to make it worthwhile marketing some budget temu stuff and chuck celebrities on their and quatriple the price to pay the celebrities back and still make a killing.
I recently bought the Sony WH1000XM5 after having two Skullcandy Crushers (the normal ones) for about 6 years total. They're not very comfortable on the top of my head because it's so slim on top. But other than that, I like these headphones because they have no white noise with ANC on, and ambient mode is perfect too. I noticed some white noise in the XM4 which I tested too and could not get used to that. I was thinking about returning the XM5 and getting the Crusher ANC 2 for the comfort, but now with the white noise I don't know. For the XM5 the only issue (but a big one) is the comfort. For the ANC 2 the downsides would be worse ambient and the white noise with ANC on. But the comfort would be great. Eh might have to just order them and test them lol. I'm gonna have €700 worth of headphones laying around when my previous headphones were only like €80, this is ridiculous. Not sure why I bothered writing all this down in a youtube comment, I hope you didn't waste your time reading all this. If you did, I'm sorry 😭 BUT, if you did, do you think the white noise is a deal breaker? And the ambient mode?
The Crusher ANC 2 for me is absolutely UNUSABLE with the noise cancelling turned on. It sounds like a tin can, very cold and hollow. Yet with the noise cancelling turned on, it sounds so much more warm and full. Why the hell does the noise cancelling on a pair of $230 headphones degrade the sound quality that much? Not that its any good since it barely does anything. The worst part is that it defaults to being on every single time its powered on. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Its annoying to constantly have to turn it back off everytime I power them on. The bass is fun, and it sounds better than the Crusher Evo for sure (Especially with the EQ), but HOLY HELL is it annoying sometimes. Anyways, I'm going to get the ULT Wear for better noise cancelling and decent bass now that I have both the Crusher Evo and Crusher ANC 2.
I just bought the ANC 2’s and now you make me want to try the Sonys! I just returned the Sony XM4’s for the ANC 2’s. Should I give the Ult Wear a try or stick with the ANC 2’s? I love how the bass feels and the color! (I got the ANC 2 tan/brown and black, but it came with a bag instead of the shell case. 😢)
Ive owned 2 sets of Evos..and now ive decided to buy the Anc 2. Due to the better padding on the headband and larger earcups. The evos made my ears burn after an hour and hurt the top of my head. Either pair are best bass heavy headphones. They compare to a system with a good active subwoofer. So if you love subwoofer addition to your audio reproduction..crushers are The only option for that sound profile
I had the last of the intel MacBook Pro's with Touch Bar and used to connect to my Insta360 x3 without any issue using the included USB-C cable. I upgraded to the MacBook Pro M3 chip and tried using the same cable and it would not work no matter what I tried. I then connected the Insta360 x3 using an Apple USB-C cable included with my iPad and BINGO it magically worked!! Dear Apple, here is a thought... prioritise users over investors!
Sir, I am really confused on which should I get ?!! Hesh ANC Open box or soundcore q20i or edifier wh700nb. (All of em are about 80 Cad) And also, how does "Hesh ANC" compare to Senheiser Acentum and Sony ch720n ??
I own all three. Soundcore Q20i for me out of those three. Most comfortable, best app, and overall sound. The WH700NB have huge earcups, balanced sound, and a limited app. The Hesh ANC have the most bass, tightest fit, and no app support.
I bought 2 raycons. The everyday ones and the fitness ones. I can't say they are trash but they are probably not their weight in value. They don't fit in my ear in a way that the sound is very consistently great.
I've had the Crusher Evo for a few years now. There is a sale going on for "Back to Skull" with 60%. I'm really debating if i need the ANC2. Solid Review. Liked and subscribed👍🏻
my guess would be dirt or water but not sure how the wheel could do that maybe less space for dust and water to go in? not that im saying to put them in water but if it rains or something or sweat
I bought Raycons cuz I wanted a pair of ear buds that I can adjust to fit in my ears. I saw a lot of my favorite RU-vidrs advertise them. When I got them I had a lot of terrible connecting them to my phone and a lot of times they would just crap out on me even thought it was fully charged when my dad tried to fix it and keep in mind my dad is very good at fixing tech. Even he couldn’t have them connect properly. I’m really pissed off it was a huge waste of money I can’t wear my old ear buds cuz my dog destroyed them.
