Thank you so much. This 1 minute video put a BIG SMILE on my father's faces. He bought the RM700 Fenix TK22 about 7 years ago and cant turn on since last 2 years. Now the flashlight back to action again. Thank you again.

WOW.... thank you for this. I have carried a PD30 for over a decade and loved it. Then I somehow lost it, or thought I had for over a year. Ended up it was hiding in the trunk of my car, however, it no longer seemed to work, and Fenix no longer sells this light. All of the functions are from momentarily clicking the rear switch, which I loved. None of the new lights work that way. I saw this video and holy crap I dug out my old work horse and it works again after this fix. Great video.
Thank you. Have had my little ld20 since 2008 and it has been around the world with me and always in my pocket every day these past 10 years, it shows a lot of wear but it has always worked great, it started having issues and this was it! Thank you.
Wow. Maybe the most useful thing I've ever watched on youtube. You came straight to the point, after one minute of video and another one poking around in my flashlight it works again. Thank you!
I've been sitting here with what I thought was a busted Fenix PD35 for six months and out of the blue I decided to google it and your video was the first I watched and holy shit it worked. Thanks much!
thank you! I am definitely going to get a dedicated retaining cap tool just for this. I also realized that my LD10 was acting up from this loose part as well as from the old Alkaline battery. I know, it was a bad bad Energizer.
Thank you for the fix... only one problem with this video. You might want to mention the retaining cap has left-handed threads therefore must be screwed in counter clockwise. Also a pair of needle nose pliers works well in this application.
Well the expensive torches suffer the same as Ultrafire from China, ive got a few Ultrafire torches, and not one has failed and about £4.50 a go im in ecstasy.
Seriously this is why I love RU-vid and the internet and all this connectivity. As others have said, thank you x 100 for posting this video ... it was exactly the issue with the LD20 we have. I ended up using the pair of scissors on a small Swiss Army knife to hold the two points and screw it all tight again. You're awesome, tnx again!
I was heartbroken when my bulletproof LD20 that had been reliable for a number of years started not turning on sporadically, but your vid helped me repair it. Thank you.
Thanks so much! I thought my PD20 was ready for the recycle bin. I have carry and used this powerful little flashlight everyday for at least three years. Fenix doesn't make this particular model anymore, other that the updated PD22. The PD22 is a decent light, but the PD20's flat tailcap works so much better for using the flashlight as a candle. When the little one is finally taking a nap and I need just enough light but not too much, this candle feature is perfect. Anyway, I'm so glad I got my little buddy back.
Thanks - may I suggest "needle nose pliers" for the ring. They fit perfectly and give enough torque when you want to unscrew it. Fenix shows alcohol and cue tips to swab the contacts. Dunno if that helps, but your vid sure did.
