Thank you, I enjoyed watching you make this pretty piece. P.s. a little feedback… the loud music overshadowed your voice it was difficult to hear your speech 3/4 of the time. If it is a tutorial, we need to hear your instructions, not overpowering music. I kept wanting to give up midway because of it
I created a digital planner for art commission. You can download it right away, and upload it to your digital planner like Goodnotes. Get it here 👉🏼 ko-fi.com/s/5bd75a83ab #art #artcommission #digitalplanner #planner
❤💜💙 🖌 Omg! Thank you for doing this! I love purple & have wondered so many times about all the different possible brand mixes!!!! You did some I didn't think of! Hitting thumbs up 👍 & watching again! 💜
Interesting brush. It could definitely make painting small leaves go a lot quicker. It would be nice if they made it larger, too. Thank you for demonstrating it. 😊
Very handy kit! If ever you need to downsize, you can always wrap a bit of masking tape around a pen or small piece of cardstock, so you don't need to carry entire roll with you (:
A dagger is more like a flat brush with a curved edge instead of a straight one. This brush is closer to a round brush, but with a much longer tip. I've seen a script type brush that is very similar to this. Ah, found it. I can't add a link or RU-vid will delete my comment, so google 'Alvaro Castagnet needle point brush'. His are natural hair brushes. The reason the brushes are designed like this, for him, is that the fat end of the brush holds water and paint to feed down to the long, skinny pointed hairs, so it paints much longer than a regular liner brush would do. The Princeton brushes are synthetic, so won't paint as long as his natural hair brushes, but they would probably do well enough for most of us. I have a billion brushes, but this one is a tempting addition. 🙂
I like the Mungyo watercolors! Tried this brand for the first time a couple of years ago, and I really enjoy working with them, they have beautiful bright colors and a very good flow. I think the biggest downside really is the not so good lightfastness. But if you work in your sketchbook maybe, or make copies or photographs of your work, this really shouldn't matter. I would definitely buy these paints again, I think think they are so much fun to work with. ❤😸
I totally agree! I'm still using them fpr tutorials. Honestly, it's good for beginners in watercolors. Aside from that, I like it better than the Winsor & Newton Cotman when it comes to the student-grade paints.
Hi @ImaMes888! Thanks for dropping by. I bought the brush rest and the ceramic leaf palette from an online store here in the Philippines. I got the leaf blade for free when I bought 2 Baohong Academy watercolor blocks from an online store here in the Philippines. The leaf ceramic palette is customized with my name at the back. If you are from the Philippines, let me know so I can share with you the details. If not, I think you can find something similar in Etsy.

This is a fun video! I have a few paintings that I did things like this! To add a slight variety, I sometimes make a slight hue shift, moving from reds to light purples for example
This lightpad is a game-changer for me, I hope it will be the same with you. If you want to try using a lightpad with your watercolor painting, click the link here: A4 Ultra-thin Portable Lightpad: amzn.to/45WVqsd
