Steve was a great man and manager. There’s a reason why David Gilmour, Nick Mason and the sadly missed Richard Wright kept him as their manager since 1968. Steve was loyal to them, was also an auto racing enthusiast like Nick Mason and to a lesser extent David Gilmour and they all dedicated projects to him after his passing (David’s On an Island album was dedicated to Steve in the phrase “To Steve who should have been here” as Steve passed away in October 2003 and Nick Mason dedicated his book Inside Out to Steve). Shame Roger Waters still holds a grudge against Steve after his death. Even Roger made Rick Wright’s death about Roger. Also Roger had no condolences about Storm Thorgerson.
All of them is so classic they make you funny and make you lol very loud. It is hilarious how they make commercials and today’s date. The commercials is not my the past. I feel like they got lazy on the commercials and today’s date.
Awww what a time to be alive..This was my babysitter shit. I loved watching the intro as a kid. I loved looking at those glamorous people in the beginning. Very well put together intro❤
0:16 We just got past the Jigglers debacle. Do we REALLY need to throw wiggling in there, too? 0:26 Nobody wiggle. Everybody just lay perfectly still. Wait! He may take that as an invite. Just STAY AWAY FROM HIM! 0:30 A new law has also made it clear you cannot make up words anymore, especially "Wigglicious", "Tingle-Jingle", and "Bouncy Bumpies". We didn't think these laws had to be made, but that's the LEAST of the surprises we got from you! 0:31 Only the pit Cosby's legal team continues to dig their way out of! 0:35 I believe fun has filed a 20-yard restraining order against you, so I would rephrase that.
I remember hearing this version being used by CBW 990AM in the late 80s. I ran across the CBC on my home stereo by accident as a kid living in central Kansas. I usually could pick up CBW starting at around 9:30 PM Central Time. Occasionally, I could get this station as early as 7:30 PM. This was the first foreign national anthem I heard as a kid. I loved listening to this station (especially the weather forecasts in Celsius). CBW had this classical music program 10:00 PM - 1:00 AM every night. I'm trying to remember the piece they used as their theme song.
