I just got one of these and I was surprised about a couple of things. First the water turns on and off during fill. Second, filling stops if you open the lid. Does anyone know why it's like this? The start/stop is irritating but basically harmless but the lid switch stopping the fill really sucks since you can't rinse your detergent cup. 🫤
I am having a problem w my dryer but is blinking 15 red and 1 green. The error code is due to a ventilation blocked error. It says that the air flow duct is clogged or blocked and to remove debris and clean and check one way vent operation
What was the dimensions of the plywood used to raise the oven. You said 1/2 inch but I noticed to strips on the bottom that would have made it have a greater than 1/2 inch width. Was this done to give space for heat?
I have this same unit only 2yrs old and have a 93 code (9 red, 3 green) on the dryer and from what I've found said control panel board on the dryer side. Replaced with new one and still have the same code no change. So I guess now I have to replace the more expensive main board and hopefully that will fix???
An excellent instruction video. The ignition device is obviously an expendable part. The replacement was so, so easy to do. Some of the screws were thumb screws, designed for easy removal without a tool. The small hex head screws were easy out and back in. There was no binding whatsoever. And, the igniter part that I ordered had the connections that matched the connections inside the range, no cutting of wires, or using wire nuts was necessary. The whole job was 5 minutes max, including the test on and off.
Pitcher on refrigerator leaks and is a known manufacturing/design issue with Samsung. They supposedly redesigned a pitcher that does not leak, but refuse provide me with a replacement. Also replacement part was quoted as $157.99
Great teaching video. My washing cycle won't stop. When the timer is 45 min it won't go down, I have to unplug from the outlet, wait 5 minutes, and complete the load with rinse and spin, so the timer is 12 minutes, but it literally takes 20 to 30 minutes for a 12 minute cycle.
I personally will never even attempt an r600a sealed system repair using anything but lokring. I'm doing a compressor swap on an r600 Frigidaire today.
I have code. 14 on my frididaire , model ffbd2420Uboa , it says the micro switch in the bottom? Of drain or under the unit? I've clean filter & drain area, pulled plug and reset, still no go. On restart , drain runs for a couple minutes ,while blinking 14 then it stops ,and the 14 stops blinking and just stays on, what's ure take on this problem, thanks
Great tutorial on troubleshooting dishwasher. I am having trouble with mine not draining water. I ran water service test mode and when it came to test 7 to drain, the drain did not kick on and drain it. Before while under power fail the pump came on when tapping Top Rack. I’m thinking pump needs replaced. Any advice?
Sweet Lord, someone please see this comment! If you KNOW that it overflowed due to someone not placing it back accurately, DO NOT go through all these steps!!!!!! There's a little rubber cap on the bottom of the tray that the pitcher sits on. It's a drain spout. Just flip it open with a cup/bowl under to catch the water. Replug and move on with life. I have ZERO appliance repair experience and an hr later of going through all of these steps and putting them back again, THAT could've been my fix! Thanks for the video though! 😅
Thanks, very useful. Question: my cooktop gets warm after I use the oven for a while. Is it ok for me to insulate the oven from the cooktop with some insulation material?
If your handle display stops working, there is a good chance the wires in the lower left hinge have been worn through (1:11). There are multiple reports of this, and it can be fixed if you are modestly handy.
Removing the ice maker looks so simple in this video. I must be missing something. I'm almost afraid that I'm going to destroy the fridge trying to remove it. Does it take a freakin huge amount of force to slide it forward after depressing the clips?
This tear down video help me a lot , to get an idea what's in side i have a 35 year old hardwired a/c i need to remove from the wall i cut the 220 cord the breaker off the pencil tester show some current at the unit but nowhere else i think it was the capacitor feedback anyway the cord was cut in half without indecent , next remove the unit from the sleeve for disposal
Thanks, our oven is heating again! There's no way I would've pulled out the gas bar without seeing it done first. I had to wait a couple of days until I got a replacement, so I greatly appreciated seeing where I was going wrong when I tried to replace the oven bottom.
