One thing I love about Sakamoto is that even though he was really important in music, he never lost his mind. In the documentary "Coda", he's such an accessible, normal person. Many of his contemporaries ended up becoming alienated weirdos. He's truly an exception that proves the rule: fame isn't good for you. Sakamoto produced great music right up until the month he died. RIP.
