Hiii!! I'm Jess. A composite photographer out of Cincinnati Ohio. Here I edit photos, chat about fun photo things and create props for shoots. I post something *usually* once a week.
If you're in the area and would like to stop in for a shoot, you can find me at sayyestojess.com
Pink use to be my favorite color; however, now that I'm older I find I like yellow, orange and surprisingly green better. But, the Pink for the dress seemed to suit it for me. I liked it.
@@sayyestoj3ss My pleazzzuuuurrrreee :) I do the same kind of stuff you do- making props/clothing for photo shoots/content. So your content is very interesting to me and i wish you much success!
With the first mushroom hat that you made, you could add some lace underneath to make a chinstrap so that the mushroom stays on your head better and now you have to workable mushroom hats 🫶🏼 PS I’m also working on my own mushroom at while watching your videos 😂🍄
I love that show! They do have beautiful dresses. I liked the final love story where they were in the carriage. I was hoping she and he would get together and get married!
I just watched your video, and if no one has told you yet, I wanted to let you know you should mix the concrete and water first, then pour it into your mold. Love your flowers❤
I like the flower. I have to ask why didn't you just paint the squares before you turned them into flowers? Wouldn't that be easier? I mean you'd be working with red already.
I didn't because I have to heat the foam to mold it into the shape I need it to be, that would crack the paint. Really, just having the right color is the best choice.
Thank you for your tutorial on how to make giant foam flowers. I am planning to make some sunflowers and daisies to use in a 70's theme high school reunion in Sept. So glad to learn about the heat gun curling the foam! You have a calm voice and talent for teaching others! I'm looking forward to your next tutorial.
Those are beautiful pictures! You did a fantastic job taking them! Being a mom just adds a different level to your life. One you'd never expect to happen. I never wanted kids. But, now I don't know what I'd do without the pair of you. I have some wonderful memories of the pair of you playing up at the school yard on the playground after school, and remember that South Florida game we use to play on the swing set? The stupid food combinations we'd make up...
Hi I can't thank you enough for this video It's so nice to be able to understand the words you're saying and be able to follow each step along eith you. I have all of this cardstock tissue paper and these packs of craft foam sheets and I had basically just given up. Those other videos use this huge giant rolls of foam and all this crepe paper and that's not accessible at my craft stores where I live and seeing you make them from craft foam sheets just made me so happy because that's what I have. I want to make my flowers gigantic like 30 plus inches lol. Do you plan on making any giant flower videos using either tissue paper or cardstock? That video would be greatly appreciated as well thank you for this video and I hope to see more like it
Oh my gosh, you're so welcome!! I can't wait to see that giant flower haha. I would probably double or triple my petals for that lol. Also you can also kind of crumple up the edges of each petal after you heat gun it. It will make it look a little more real.
nope, doesn't look like zip ties to me! I like it however.....I do so many things with those zip ties....When we lived in PA our landlord made an entire chicken house and fenced in yard for his chickens using zip ties to hold it all together. That's when I was introduced to zip ties and loved them. You can do almost anything with those.
Hello, Beautiful, talented freind! I want to say that I had to slow the recording down to .25 by going to the video settings at the bottom of the video(flower shape), click on that and then, playback speed. I set it to .25 to see that you pulled the petals lengthwise. It gives them more dimension. But, you could probably pull petals across as well. Thank you for sharing!
Hii! I have a legit tutorial on how to make these on the link below. No need to slow the tutorial down 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cj8cMvo8-FU.htmlsi=ddaftOSrWtIDj_g0
That's pretty different....I think I like the one you are wearing over the other one you have not finished yet. Now that's not to say that the other one will not be really nice. I'm betting it will be. But, I personally like the one you have right now.
I say do what makes you happy and it feels like you want it to be black. 😉 BUT please check if the material will take the dye because if some parts do and others don't....😱 So maybe you are right and a new project is the better idea for that. Sorry for not being helpful at all. 🙈 Love what you did to the dress! ❤
Oh absolutely! I think I'd have to use the one for synthetic fabric regardless because of tulle. But thank you so much! And I do totally have a new project soon- project black dress 🤣🤣
I love that! Gorgeousness would love it to! You know she's getting pretty old now. Some place comfortable would be nice for her. You might have inspired me to give it a try in the future.
