Yes, for survival. But I need a DPS to complete the battle within 10 cycles so I chose Yanqing (ice matches the boss weakness + chance of follow up attack which was buffed in that MoC).

@@rosarubus What am I gonna do?! Because starting on Version 2.4, the story for me gets longer and longer even I defeat him, i need to do 2.2 quest, 2.3 quest. and so on... I'll start at 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM after i defeat aventurine.

There’s no need to use follow up characters but I’m using them because of the Memory Turbulence which buffs follow up attacks in the Memory of Chaos (MoC). This MoC has recently ended btw.
From what I know, Robin is able to buff the team’s DMG, ATK, CRIT DMG and follow up attacks’ CRIT DMG. These buffs are beneficial for Clara as a follow up type main dps whose damage scales on ATK.
Actually Yanqing isn't that bad against Aventurine boss thanks to FUA although 60% chance, being ice, and can freeze. I did MOC 3 star with Yanqing, Aventurine, Tingyun, Bronya
Yup, I agree with @flowerpetal_. For my case, Yanqing and Clara are my best dps whose elements match the weakness of the enemies and have FUA (good for the blessing given).
Yup and that’s why Aventurine is the last one standing. But I gave up on this round since it already failed 3 stars. In this team, Clara and Yanqing are the follow up characters (although Yanqing’s follow up attack depends on chance). My other follow up characters are in the other team so that both teams’ elements match the enemies as much as possible.
@@Bi.Bo. I was able to beat the boss. What happened in the video was a one-time accident. Unfortunately, most of the characters that I like happen to be single-target XD
@@rosarubus in all honesty my reaction is just "what" considering I have to put in acheron, huo huo, aventurine, and clara just to oof aventurine (clara did more dmg to aventurine than acheron and aventurine literally didn't get hit with a single debuff the entire run)
@@ChansonOignon-qd8nv haha your friend’s team is good for breaking the boss’ weakness and their builds must have been good. I don’t have Acheron and Huohuo but I asked a friend and it seems like Acheron is better teamed with characters who apply debuffs (e.g. Pela, Silver Wolf, Black Swan, Kafka). This way, Acheron can use her ultimate more frequently and deal more dmg. Not being able to apply debuffs onto the boss is one of the reasons why Clara did more dmg than Acheron.
@@rosarubus I mean, most nihility chars have low health. And I'm making the team purely for the purpose of making Clara the main dps. Since for acherons ultimate i just relied on aventurine gambling phase and my aventurine counter (yes, aventurine counter apply debuffs).
