For anything big and tall with a specific thing I'm trying to reach, use alternate assault on partisan after assault buster to just... Teleport straight to it whenever you need to. Those triumphant shift fails were hard to watch 😂
I tried quick assault there and no it just too inconsistent for me Shift works much beter at height management and has no requirements to activate making it much more convenient

I don't like giant bosses. So I want *you* to test this for me. On those triple smacks, try Cleaving scythe for the first smack, WA for second, and use triumphant shift for third swing to go straight into assault charge. Also avenging cleaving scythe > assault charge deal the exact same damage, and has the exact same recovery, as a single avenger fatal tornado, which only costs 10 PP and not like 25 lol the former is only stronger after you've empowered the assault charge with WA already
Scythe>WA is slightly faster than tornado and it shows in this very fight when you try it out, unsure abt the damage diference though Also if by the 3 slams you mean the ones at the final stance thats just too much work to test rn, probaly along the week
I took fatal tornado off my bar ever since we got the Cleaving Scythe customs, based on the frame data at least. Not my favorite move anyway, everybody used to just spam tornado the whole fight. I play parti/wire though -can regen some PP from Wire WeaponAction after an avenged scythe if you don't have enough time to Charge Assault Charge. (And hellish fall works great on the 1st two smacks from the 3 punch combo.) I think the 10% avenger damage boost (scythe custom) may be better generally than the one used here but they are pretty close so it was cool to see! I wish we could triple-multi-wep, hunter needs it badly ;_;
@@yumikodesu the reason to go continuous slash is because most of the damage goes into the first slash rather than both, which means you can into assault charge without losing too much damage, and increasing your DPS tenfold. Fatal tornado is good for lingering moves
this whole video is whats wrong with rise lmfao 1. A single wirebug GP gives full phials with the most forgiving timing ever 2. Said phials are critting up to 1400 damage (loool) 3. You can tank a hard hit from a frenzied diablos lvl 300 rofl this game is a joke 4. your phials arent canceled after getting hit mid saed i remember when this game actually took positioning to not get shit on lmao
The skill dragon conversion turns all elemental defence into elemental damage, defence boost 6 gives +5 to all elemental resistances (if im not wrong) thus giving a little more elemental damage
It fills all 5 actualy, the skill is called capacity boost (its called load shells in rise my bad) and supposedly it would give you a 6th phial slot but instead it let you max out at yellow
Sweet run. This is one of the monsters that really gave me a hard time when I was learning Charge Blade and trying out a bunch of different match-ups. Knocking down this monster is so annoying since the time that it stays down for is just barely short enough that we can't consistently do a full combo of charging phials into an SAED lmao, but cc chaining it feels rly satisfying. I'm also p surprised that you say this match-up is a lot more fun compared to Flaming Espinas. I think Lucent Narga is way more annoying haha, but I guess I'm biased since Anomaly Flaming Espinas is one of my fav monsters for farming Anomaly levels with CB.
Thank you. And the thing with flaming spinas is that his recovery from attacks are pretty fast, even if you counter an attack he'll just recover and attack you before you can finish an SAED animation so for me it just felt like too much "pray you don't get hit"
At the start of the fight, why did you charge your sword even though your shield wasn't charged? I saw akantorex do it in one of his runs and wondered if it was a misinput. Anyways great run and pls post more CB speedruns
Really nice run but just so your aware TA requires showing equipment and with all those skills your most likely using qurio armor which is prohibited in TA but still good run though.
Its been a while but generaly my Hu skill tree is Pick all sword/partisan skills 3/5 on physique short cycle 2/3 on the shield skill that i totaly know the name Not a single point in any Wires skill as i don't use em at all Max out everything else (priority on flashguard). As for more videos, *maybe* in the next update
