Wonderful to see from the air what we normally drove through. (And Yes, the air does get noticeably cooler as you head north from Manila and begin to climb.) We made the trip by plane only once: on a Philippine Air Lines DC-3 --- which give you an idea of how long ago that was. The remarkable thing is, how little the scenery has changed until you approach Baguio (even the outskirts of Manila seemed, from that height, unchanged). Thanks much for posting this: it brings back so many wonderful memories.
too late to watch this video. You mentioned "one of the road to Baguio" is actually the road to and from Philex Mining Corporation, the cluster of houses before the road you mentioned. It's my first time to see the Mining Company from above in your video and its very beautiful. Actually I was born there, I grew there and left in 1991 when my father retired. Thank for this video.
Ah misty city of pines. I fell in love with a girl from this city. But the sad part is she doesn't know it. We were still in college and i was on vacation staying in a place called upper philam. We would lit bonfires at the playground in front of the house at night and the scent of sweet burning pine tree logs filled the air. The night air smelled so nice with the scent of the pine trees and drinking beer paired with marlboro cigs. Hope the sweet girl is alright at this very moment. Hi marichu.
Seriously this was in 2006 it must be great to have it until now. Sadly, They closed the airport a long time ago. This year 2019 they are planning to revive it. I hope it works. From baguio here.
Why oh why is there such irritating music on what should be an interesting video, l had to mute the sound as it was giving me a terrible headache. Please stop the crap, it achieves nothing...
you can't always use the plane going up to Baguio because of high altitude ,the best season to go their by plane is summer the rest of the season will be a bit critical because of the cloud would always pop up on thee ground.
Either cebu pacific or pal airline and ask for connecting flight bound to Baguio . However, if you just come from manila please inquire in the ticketing agencies
