Just decided to grab a pair of these in the new blackish colorway. I am REALLY enjoying my Mach X2's I just purchased. Hopefully I will enjoy these as much, but in a different way. Appreciate your take, as always.
I can recommend the Asics Fujispeed 3! I used them for their first run ever (not a wise thing to do I know 😅) at Lidingöloppet 30k yesterday, a very big trail race close to Stockholm, that gathered almost 15000 runners. Really good grip, responsive, fast and light, and cheaper as I bought them at I strongly recommend you to review them as I cannot find any good reviews of that more accessible fast and light trail shoe for road to trail running! Bought it on the internet for less than 120 euros, a great deal, for a light carbon plated trail shoe.

Ya its western society. Cartels make the price high, production cost of a shoe might be 5€. The science and the blbla is mostly marketing, big firms surround themselves anyways with pro athletes for marketing, if he wears the shoe its science xD Selling price 250€+. One word in german „Wucher“.
Hi i am a heavy guy with wide feet. I think from this review NEW BALANCE FUELCELL SC TRAINER V3 seem to be the best option for me. Please advise if my understanding is correct.
Great review, really want to try this shoe but worried about the reported heel issue and splashing out the earth credits, how does it compare with the Cielo x1 upper which works well for me
I just got them a few days ago and I love it! It hurts a bit my feet because I’m still breaking it in but today I tried it for a Threshold workout and ran 38:48 whereas I usually run 41min with my New Balance V3! It’s like the shoes wanted to go faster! I wanted to run 40min but it was so easy to maintain 3:50-3:55 pace without trying too hard… maybe I tried just a bit harder but not much, 2min improvement for a similar effort is amazing I think I can probably break 37min all out which would be huge for me due that my pb with the Rebel v3 is 38:03
Adidas doesn’t fit my foot shape very well normally so not hyped for those either… but still can’t help but feel that this video won’t age well - think this is more Adidas doing a poor job at communicating the differences with this weird half pre launch
This just got out in my country for 30mins and already out of stock in the adidas app. Sold out like pancakes. 😂😂 I’ll wait for the different colors. Still enjoying my Lilac and cloud white AAAP3s.
Don’t get the pricing of the NB SC 3 in the U.K. Here in the U.S. it’s $180 which is $20 cheaper than the Superblast. NB needs to get their act together pricing wise.
Alphafly 3 dominaces the FM event in our recent running event. A few Adidas Adios Pro 3, some Asics, some Hoka, but 95% elite runners trust the Alphafly
Interested in the Evo SL, less so the Pro 4, but only because I have a pair of Pro 3’s that I snagged for £150 ready and waiting for the current ones to run out.
Evo SL is going to be a huge hit. And I LOVE that they put a more traditional inner heel collar, which will hopefully stop heel lift issues seen with their split bumper design they use in the Boston 12 / AP V3/4.
Reading some of these comments from butt hurt people bothered that Edd hasn’t gone all goo goo gah gah over the Evo SL and the Pro 4 has me a little vexed. So he’s not that excited at the prospect of dropping £220+ of his own money on the Pro 4? It’s his money and that’s his choice and it’s his opinion. He’s not dictating to anyone else how to spend their money ffs. We seem to be at a point over the last year where so many RU-vid reviewers are getting so many freebies from brands from shoes to attending majors all expenses paid and we’re supposed to believe that this has zero impact on their reviews? Please. So many of these so called independent reviews are nothing more than glorified advertisements for those brands. I’m actually excited about the Pro 4 and the SL Evo, but I’m also fully aware that i probably won’t have the earth credits to justify buying both (like many people the cost of living means I’m on a budget ), and so I’m more likely to take notice of someone talking about these shoes who is also having to consider spending their own money on them simply because we don’t all work for Running Warehouse or have sub elite marathon times and therefore get all our stuff sent to us for free.
I do get some free shoes to test. But there are a number of brands including Nike, adidas, new balance and Hoka that send me nothing. Maybe you could say the big ones!

Refreshing that you're not buying into the hype of the latest adidas releases. Other youtube channels have become rather tiresome. No radical changes from the Pro 3. Don't believe the hype!
I heard the SL had a nylon plate in it, like the puma deviate nitro, but I can't see that on adidas site and no one else seems to mention it either, you heard anything about it?
A fantastic shoe, up there with the latest super shoes. Achieved a half marathon and 5k PB this year in them, both that stood for 5 years! Cheers Ed for your elite reviews 👍

Ultimately I shall give them a whirl. But it’s just weird to show them off without a launch. What’s with the influencers having them before a consumer release? Is that within the rules?!
The 450 pounds "one-use" pro evo 1 is definitely not for the general public, although, having hold them in hand yesterday at the berlin marathon expo, they do feel magical and too light to be true. Evo SL on the other hand, is very interesting, definitely a yay for me and can't wait to get them to try :D

Glad I watched this as i was going to get a pair of the sl2's next month. Guess I'll hold out for the pro Evo sls instead. Not many more Earth Credits either- banging
Evo SL is a yeah for me, I liked the SL2 so much that I was thinking about how Adidas could possibly improve it and Adidas was like, "hold my beer 🍺 Here's the Evo SL.."
I beg you to reconsider on the Pumas. Think how cool you’d look in your final gig in them before you board the ark on the Yeovil industrial estates. You’ll need something grippy to run home in once the waters subside?
Regular lightstrike 1 creases and dwarfs down in time… I guess LS 2.0 will too. Bit LS Pro doesn’t crease neither colapse over time. Collapsing means changing geometry too. I own a Boston 11, 10mm drop by specs, the heel is so down now it feels like a 4mm drop. Accommodating your feet and stride can be good. But all LSPro foam shoes are guaranteed not deformed.
All in all I really enjoy my B11 with low drop... it may be a Frankenstein marketwise, but to me it's very fun to use and frontfoot encouraging (I'm more midfoot striker, and heelstriker when exhausted). But in the other hand that's why I'm very interested at the Evo SL. And why it will be so different from SL2 - wich I believe will deform over time too. But it seems to me SL2 has less structure than B11, and since I mildly pronate, over time it may ruin the show. I'm definitely looking forward to Evo SL 🥰😍
I'd say there's enough change in there for the Pro 4 (rocker placement, foam feel and upper) to warrant a comparison....Hopefully you will have a change of mind on this one later in 2025 when the hype fades a bit and a discount code arises👍🦾🏃❤🐈⬛
The ASICS Superblast 2 is out of my size (US 11.5) so I ordered this. I’m heavy on my feet when I run so I was looking for a shoe that absorbs a big impact. I’m apprehensive but I’m looking forward to trying it out.
I’m so mad bc I just got a pair of pro 3s and boy oh boy do I need a pair of pro 4s. Also excited for the adios 9 that have been teased. Looking insane! Great video as always
It is the evo sl for me . Though the takumi is lighter and has the rods , I've been enjoying models with more comfortable uppers and rod-less/ plate-less shoes . I wish the weight would be lighter, but there is more stack than the takumi
