With the extensive knowledge and practical experience in diverse drone applications our goal is to help organisations adapting drone technology to its full potential. From procuring products to training and operation support, we want to make sure we are presence and help our client along the journey.
Hello guys. I am about to order the H20T due to my day time operations BUT due to my specialised equipment I assist emergency services when requested. Can the H20T thermal sensor assist flight during night time? Can I get any useful image and video output out of a night time flight with the H20T.??? Thank you.
Can you fly with a remote or is it only autonomously? I am trying to figure out how you fly the M30 using this Dock. If this Dock is at a location seperate from your command post how are you able to fly the drone? If you could help with these questions that would be great. Thank you.
Sorry to ask a few dumb questions however..... If flying the M3E using the RTK NTRIP and using my local datum (EPSG 2193), are the images tagged with EPSG 2193 and then when importing into Pix4d I can select EPSG2193 as the input coordinate system? And not WGS1984. What about the vertical. Im confused. I have been told that the M3E captures the RTK coordinates in ellipsoidal and needs to be converted to Geodetic. How is this done? And does it need to be done before importing to Pix4D? Changing the metadata of each image?? Do you guys know what the correct workflow is
When the drone is in flight, it uses WG S84 and an ellipsoid height that is not locally referenced. The conversion of coordinates can be performed either before or after importing the data into the software.
Is it possible to combine photo mapping data of P1 with 3d model data of L1. Is it possible to use same drone with P1 and L1 instead two different drones?
The 3D model data of L1 can be combined with P1 photogrammetry data! You can use the P1 and the L1 with the M300 RTK, however you can't use them simultaneously since the combined weight of the payloads would be too high.
If you want more precise surveying and mapping results with your Mavic 3 Enterprise drone, using a GNSS receiver like the DRTK-2 is essential. Flying the drone alone won't give you the same level of accuracy.
You can update the L1 via the DJI pilot App First, mount the L1 to the drone and make sure that there is a strong connection between the drone and the remove controller. Once you've turned it on, navigate to the HMS in your DJI Pilot, select Firmware Update, then Zenmuse L1. From there you should be able to follow the on-screen instructions!
Hi Wookiee! Yes, this was shot with the standard Mavic 3E with no add-ons. In this case we used Oblique flight mode, where in the RC generates 5 different flight paths and captured around 220 images which was later processed to generate this model.
yes! BVLOS operations will allow us to improve operational efficiency. You will cut down deployment times and with solutions like the Dock, you even eliminate the need for pilots on the field.
Hi Caleb! The L1 on its own is not a SLAM solution. We have found success in using it to conduct a pre-site survey and use that data to plan our mission flights.
Interesting to see that a lot of people take this as gospel. The terms precision and accuracy are very loosely used here. L1 is not remotely survey grade.
There are many excellent processing software out there. Which one is the best will depend on your requirements. DJI Terra, Pix4D, and Agisoft Metashape, to name a few.
Again, it all depends on the deliverables you are looking for. If you are looking for an all-around payload that can deliver detailed photos while also delivering point clouds, Zenmuse P1 is the best option. DJI M300 RTK compatible with both P1 and L1.
This Drone could be the best creation of DJI, and the best Drone ever made! However this Drone has 2 big downsides; 1- You can’t pay $20,000( Australian price of DJI M30T basic kit with DJI care 1 year) in a Drone where the main camera, hardly can turned left and right, I mean when you turned left and right, you can see the arms, propellers, and stuffs, like in the whole frame!!! The main camera should have been able to turned 360 degrees, or at the list 180 degrees in a clean view, only looking for the subject in the frame, specially when it has been “Built/ Made” for first safety responders, like Fire fighters, Police and others!! 2- The main camera should be able to swap for other payload, like P1/L1 and more, specially because it is very compact and great drone with its size and portability! However about swapping the cameras/ payloads, if they haven’t thought about that before realising, at the list they should have made 4 different versions… - First version M30/ M30T, -Second version M30 P1 -Third version M30 L1 -Forth version the Dock one, as it already has been made( but this one it’s specific for companies and stuffs). If the DJI Enterprise Team had thinking about that, it would have been selling just like water bottles!! Specially for many trades out there, and many different industries would benefit from that choice to buy, different needs but in the same Drone, even more special because of those many features like as deploy time, Walter-proof, portability and on!
