My photography journey started in March 2020 and I’m now including my drone work with this page. I’m a man who is taking it day by day to deal with his mental health issues and this “art form” is my outlet and my first aid kit to help me on my journey.
Join me on my channel as I explore places around Merseyside, the NW and also further afield.

Hope you feel better soon. Great video. A place we would love to visit. We have been to The Black Country museum and enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing this. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Arrived eventually. Had to get a bus 😂😂. Was all good though. Lovely to meet you & Kev and learn about your spids 😂👌🏻 My insta pages: @redfox_uk & @_flyingfoxphotography
Surprised you didnt swing the drone over the road above that amazing Former Fire and Police station 🤔🤔 Also remember drinking in the Old Bill opposite in the mid 1980,s with my Dad Vic Williams 👍👍🍺🍺
This was a brilliant pub. Always packed on match days. Nice staff. Happy memories of Everton winning everything in the 80’s. Always in here every home game for over twenty years. So sad. UTFT
Used to go in the Sefton and also the old Bill pub facing for a drink, also been in there when it was Westminister Road Police Station a few times long time ago
Great pub, used to drink and play cards there in the 70s before going up to anfield for the match. Big room at the back full of pool tables, happy days.
I am looking at it on google earth and there seems to be a plaque high up which looks like it could have something written on it. I cannot make it out but your drone could.
Thanks for your comment. You’re right, I can still see its beauty from an architectural point of view. It’s such a shame old buildings are just left and forgotten. Over the road from it is an old police station but they’ve been converted to flats. However the building looks stunning with some original details.
Thank you for sharing. We enjoyed relaxing and watching this. Beautifully filmed. Hope you manage to find out the history of this place. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thanks to you both for watching. I’m frustrated really as I didn’t want to post without at least some facts etc 🤦🏻♂️. I’ve signed up to a FB page with local history so hopefully I’ll try to get more info at a later date.
Thank you for sharing this with us. A very emotional video. We hope that things continue to improve for you. Have to agree Spring and Autumn are better months as the summer can be far too hot and you feel like doing less. All the best for the future. Take care and look after yourself. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thanks for such an amazing comment to my video. I didn’t know how it would be received by others but generally the feedback looks great. Sometimes, stories just need to be told, whether they’re painful to tell or not. They serve as a reminder that we’ve lived. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Very emotional watching this but super proud of you 💙 its amazing that you are now able to share what you have been through to show other people that's it's ok to reach out for support.... just amazing!! Well done you 🫂💙 xxx
Thank you so much for watching and for your positive feedback 👌🏻😌. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to put this kind of video together and I just hope others watch it too. 🙏🏻😌
Hi thank you so much for sharing. Not an area we are familiar with. It looks fantastic somewhere we would definitely enjoy if we are ever in the area. We really enjoy your drone shots the beach looks spectacular. Congratulations on a great video a big 👍 from us. Hope you are having a great weekend Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thank you Dave and Dawn for your great comments. Tbh, it’s only a short train journey from Liverpool but this is only the third time I’ve been here. The place is lovely, I’ve not fully explored it yet but I may do more for the next video when I visit again.
@@Redfox_UK I was on a ferry in the water, we got it from Gosport to southhampton and we passed ships ten times taller then us like other P&O cruises and a car carrier. We got to go right up close to the queen Anne just as the sun was setting so I got some very good pictures. Looking through the windows, the interior of the queen Anne looked very posh like the olden day ships. Eventually close to midnight she honked her horns and slowly began to move towards us. A bunch of fireworks were set off in a huge display for about 10 mins. Then the queen Anne passed us close by so we followed it at the same speed for about half an hour before it turned to port and sailed down a different route. We got back to Gosport around midnight. It really was amazing.
Thank you for a video that tells much I never knew and shows much that I missed when l visited this wonderful house of worship in 1999. I find it interesting that l, a non-Anglican, was so moved by it's beauty and sense of holiness and that l, a Catholic, was so turned off by the ugly modern monstrosity that passed for a Catholic cathedral down the street that l wasted no time in visiting it.
You may have a point with that. I guess where there are tourists, you will always find coffee shops nearby. These two just go hand in hand after a lengthy walk around this place. I’m not sure as to why it was placed here but I’m sure they had their reasons 🤷🏻♂️.
It's actually in the north porch not the nave. I've been to services there and once the screens are in place, which they are during acts of worship, you wouldn't know it was there.
When in Liverpool a few years ago, I visited the Anglican Cathedral which seemed a cross between a huge museum-style building and a cafe. I then walked over to the Catholic Cathedral where the annual schools' Mass was taking place and the building was buzzing with energy. Interesting contrast.
@@dougbarker3019 Did you also attend a service? Just like Westminster Abbey and other great religious buildings, there is a distinct change from visitor attraction and sacred worship space many times a day. I've seen this transformation, which happens within minutes, a number of times. IMO, the financial necessity of running a visitor attraction is not allowed to impact the worship. There may be a case to be made that sight-seeing is some people's only interaction or gateway into the Christian faith, and therefore is evangelistic. With respect to 'Paddy's Wigwam', the building and the visitors it attracts is not comparable to the Anglican cathedral.
Thanks for the upload. One of the most awe inspiring buildings I’ve ever visited, Scott’s vision is a work of genius. Using traditional Gothic designs yet not a slavish copy he created one of the World’s great buildings. From the evidence of the drone the cathedral’s exterior could do with a clean to reveal its true magnificence.
