Air & Powder I simply put out my own Experience on the products I own within the Airgun community and to include RimFire & Center fire .If your intrested in just watching or maybe just sit back and Have a drink while its rainning outside , enjoy & watch some of the things I do , its all good. I'm open to any ideas criticisim or maybe learning from what I experience it's all good too.
Great video! I have a PT33SH and PT33P which is a 5.1.1 ratio reel. I had a 3RD PT33P but unfortunately it is now resting at the bottom of Irvine Lake in Orange County California 😢 The thumb screws are for spool quick changes, it’s one of the features I Love for tournaments when I need to change line diameter, I don’t go by pound test, diameter is way more accurate! 👍
I have a 56th and it likes 5.52 head size. I noticed from your audio you have the stock spring buzz, but that may quiet down later on. No matter as it does not seem to have a negative impact on the shot cycle. You can always opt for a Vortek kit in order to eliminate that little buzz. I have been able to consistently get nickle sized groups at 50yds in favorable conditions with it in stock configuration, but with 5.52 pellets & if i remember correctly JSB 18 gr, anyhow i appreciate your video and hope others do as well as it comes across as completely on the level and is exactly what people need to see. Yes these guns are heavy and while i get why a person may want to opt for something lighter for taking into the field the accuracy and the way it shoulders in my opinion make it worth the weight. If you spend the $$$ on any pellet rifle i can understand not wanting to opt for hard use. I am one of those people so the first thing i did was install sling studs in order to get past the desire to keep it pristine. I like the .22 cal and in my opinion these are one of if not the absolute best spring piston hunters you can get. Oh yeah the trigger is absolutely top notch for a hunting trigger. My T06 came set at 1lb 3oz. . These things are a work of functional art. I like that the new 54 has open sights, but the Diana open sights could & should be more precise. My only complaint about the 54 in any variant is the lack of adjustable cheek piece.
Funny, the main complaint about the Bushnell matchpro ED is the eye box and narrow field of view. And you are saying the Arken is worse? I'd pass on both.
I just ordered a Cometa Fenix 400 usc premier star in .25 caliber, it should arrive tomorrow, For a scope, i ordered a Leapers 3x12x44 swat compact with 30mm tube, and Leapers 30 mm rings.
You erased the comment one of your subscribers made giving specific information about Arken selling Chinese glass for "Japanese " in their scopes. The gentleman mentioned name ,time and even the length of the call. Who are you protecting, corporations or your subscribers? Be honest.
Nice review. Pretty sure it has a spring, but nice review.. I have a 400 Fenix in .25 and plan for a Fusion Star .177 like this. Very nice build quality. Incredible checkering. Lovely stock. Accurate. What more can you want. Thanks for the review.
I've got a covenant 6-25 Cabella scope and it looks very similar. The one downside to me is the tiny dot in the center of the crosshairs. It completely disappears on a dark target. At least it does to my 71 year old eyes!
Gas Ram?? in the UK they are spring, but I've got one and I rate it as the most accurate gun I own, a joy to shoot, superdomes best pellet and exact 8.8 very close second
I own a Norinco EM 332, it cost me $150. that rifle shoots sub moa at 100 yards. I'm afraid that the 2020 rimfire is not worth the money or the bother, Here is what I would call an unbiased review. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nk3tde7RQKI.html
Great video, would you willing to do a tear down video? I would love to see the mounting blocks and stock. Wondering if the mounting blocks are cast metal like the ruger precision rimfire. Really want to see if this rifle has any chance by modification lol
IM Glad some of you like your westhunter scopes, mine is very milky looking especially on bright days, and my elevation is very limited to say the least, i tried getting a refund within the warranty period but after 2 emails they ghosted me .....this company is a joke.
** UPDATE: westhunter in fact did honor my warranty (finally) ..... the new scope, albeit, same name, magnification, and boxing is a completely different scope, its clear and the paralax adjustment gets me down to about 10 yards where as before my closest shot was clear at about 20 to 25 yards, not a huge issue for powder burners but for an air gunner like myself im happier with the closer range capabilities, the elevation issue is still bad but at this point i just shimmed the back scope ring with a few layers of painters tape, thank you westhunter, i apologize.
I’ve just bought one in 177. and only picked it up yesterday and what a rifle, I don’t know whether to shoot it or hang it on the wall as it’s absolutely stunning. I’ve been shooting airguns among other guns for nearly half a century and I’ve always wanted one of these Pro sports but I’m a lefty shooter and they never made them for us lefty’s until maybe a year or so ago. But I now own what I believe to be the best springer on the market. I’m a Weihrauch man through and through having just bought another hw100 kt in 177 which is my third in a row now and I also have a beautiful hw 97 blue laminate in 22 and two hw 95k’s in 22 and 177 and my little grab and shoot HW99s in 22 so you could say I like the brand. But this pro sport is on another level, as I mentioned I’m a left handed shooter and I’ve had to pay extra for the privilege but at nearly £1000 over here in the U.K. it’s not cheap by any means but worth every penny and is definitely a keeper. Everything about the gun is absolutely bang on and has such a smooth firing cycle especially for a 177 they can be more jerky and twangy but not this gun it’s just so smooth and has an awesome trigger and I hate to say this as I’m a Weihrauch man but the pro sports is in my opinion so much better and considering the record trigger is renowned for its quality I didn’t think anything could top it but this one definitely is. I’ve been giving the stock rubdown after rubdown with linseed oil and it’s made the grain just pop right out and really does look smart now and I’ll keep feeding it until I’m completely satisfied with the finish. But yes after years and years and thinking I’d never own one I now do and I’m over the moon.
If it's made in China I'm not touching it don't you ever listen to the news can't you see what they're doing to us come on people if you have a choice buy USA or at least from one of our Allies
Another professional shooter recently did several RU-vid reviews and be wasn't impressed with the Match Pro ED he bought. About a week ago posted on RU-vid. Buy the new Primary Arms GLX $755 with Optics Planet 10% discount code at least it's not Chinese like the Bushnell Match Pro ED it's made in the Philippines like the $1200 Burris XTR III.
I agree with most of what you said about the Arken. The turrets are their best feature. And the zero stop is the best on I have used aside from my tangent theta. Glass is just ok. Gets fuzzy at full magnification
I hope and pray that you NEVER EVER need to use their extremely shady warranty. BUSHNELL has a BBB F rating for a good legitimate reason. They appear to be very good at screwing over their own customers come lifetime warranty time. Did you know they only have a one year warranty on their scope illuminated reticles under the guise of a really BS lifetime warranty that they don't like to honor? They're completely opposite of Vortex. Google search "Bushnell warranty complaints" and " Bushnell customer complaints" it's insane how many Bushnell customers regularly got screwed over the past decade like business as usual. Really surprised Bushnell hasn't been forced to shut down by now.
I can't recommend buying anything with the Bushnell brand label on it due to their F rating according to the BBB as a result of screwing over their customers come lifetime warranty time. Google search "Bushnell warranty complaints" and "Bushnell customer complaints" it's unbelievable and totally hostile and completely opposite compared to Vortex customers. Did you know the scopes have only one year warranty on their illuminated reticle under the guise of a lifetime warranty that's not even a real lifetime warranty like Vortex? They consider some of their own products lifetime warranty to be only one year in actuality. It's really unfortunate when they put corporate profits over customer satisfaction by denying all their lifetime warranty claims based on angry customer testimonials which can easily be publicly seen with a simple Google search. Just really really really unfortunate.
Always thoroughly research no questions asked lifetime warranty and actual company integrity confirmation based on actual happy customers testimonials before buying any brand optics.
Hi Albert, I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there's been a long time ongoing situation going on with Bushnell and screwing over their customers come warranty time. They currently have an F rating to the BBB for unresolved complaints regarding the lifetime warranty they don't seem to actually honor. In fact Bushnell's lifetime warranty isn't even a real lifetime warranty like Vortex has. It's totally opposite and proof is on the BBB when you search both companies. Bushnell lifetime warranty can be as short as only one year such as the Illuminated reticles in their scopes under the guise of their lifetime warranty advertising. Their rangefinders, electronic sights, red dots trail cams some spotters and binoculars may only have one year worth of lifetime warranty even if it says lifetime it might be only for one year realistically if you try to send in your broken Bushnell items. Feel free to Google search "Bushnell warranty complaints" and "Bushnell customer complaints" there's an overwhelmingly countless amount of really pissed of former customers of Bushnell telling their horror stories. Hope you don't get screwed over by Bushnell come warranty time. And you thought Riton was horrible.
