Historically, TV Sound engineers have done a terrible job with metal bands, mucking about with guitar levels, reducing them to nothing, except on a solo if you’re luckily. Iron Maiden at Dortmund was a classic example. The guitar levels were going up and down like a yo-yo! They really have no clue with metal.
It really sucks that these guys went down hill. The old stuff is so good and I can't stand to listen to them anymore, just poppy radio garbage. What a waste of an excellent band. Just Sucks!!! And Michael is such a great front man and Jon was a beast on the drums.
