One of the questions we get asked the most is “where did you get it?” Most videos I do when I receive an item will state where we bought it. The short answer though is used item are from eBay and new items are from TrainWorld. We also get things at Amazon or other retailers such as Walmart and Target.

The gold USA tour 50th anniversary model was one of the weirdest models Hornby made. They gave all the metal parts a golden finish that would rub off if you run it, yet put a motor and other working parts in it. Hornby makes a TT set called "The Scotsman" yet it includes 2550 Blink Bonny. There is a TT Flying Scotsman sold separately as product code TT3004M Dapol is coming out with a new run of N scale Flying Scotsman which you can currently pre-order. 2S-011-010 is a set with matching coaches You can also find a bunch of random stuff with the Flying Scotsman on it from the National Railway museum's gift shop.
Considering how more big engines being made is placed on how well Rebecca sells, and considering she's hardly selling, I wouldn't get my hopes up... unfortunately, I would've loved to see scotsman by bachmann.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
They discontinued them in 2021 outside of advent calendars, special packs, and international releases. I was able to get some of the minis in trucks on clearance at Walmart in 2021. In 2023, they started only having classic/normal minis in non-blind bags. 10:11 that one came with a target practice set shown at the end along with Sir Topham Hatt. The sets you're thinking of came with a purple Spencer or pirate Porter The only minis I think that might be worth something are multipack and set exclusives and the Tootsie ones as the Tootsie ones were only available in North America. One thing I would like to do with my minis is attaching them to a rail similar to the zip lines in the sets and making them wall decor. A giant minis will similar to like sneaker walls.
Minis got me back into Thomas. I'm pretty sure that the last time I saw Minis in stores was during Covid times. I remember that they stopped using blind bags and switched to a box strapped to a terrible plastic Trackmaster compatible truck. After 3 series that no one bought (since the little cardboard display that it was packed in was always full) they disappeared from store shelves. Maybe Mattel gave up on them.
I'm surprised the leading wheels for the loco are on the rails for ya. That loco is known for its leading wheels to derail frequently due to how light the pony truck and wheels are. Mine was that case.
