Someone else said in the day it points up and the night it lays down. I am going to have to pay attention to mine. I have only had it a couple of days.
I know this is considered a delicacy but it's kind of hard for my brain to wrap around the idea to eat anything with the word "snot" or even looking like it.
I was introduced to it with the names star jelly and angel jelly. I've never eaten it, and since I've heard the other nickname, I don't think I could ever try it. It makes me gag when I think about it now.
Do you have any videos on propagation? I literally just clipped a few of my geo leaves that were small, hard and sun burned. Like you said i want to encourage them to put their energy towards the healthy leaves.
I'm sorry for not seeing your message sooner. I don't have any geo propagation videos yet, but there may be a new video on variegation in the leaves soon. I've gotten some interesting foliage recently. I've heard you can propagate a cutting in water or soil, especially if you use a rooting hormone or at least pop a pothos cutting in with it to promote roots faster. I hope this helps in future and I would love to know if you did something else and they rooted well
so even though it was wet for a while it had no rot? I'm asking because I got one from home depot about three weeks ago, gave her a shower when I got home, and haven't watered it since, and she's still pretty wet, and i'm nervous about root rot and wondering if i should change soil to chunkier and put in terra cotta instead of nursery plant
I'd check the soil moisture every five-ish days and change to a better soil if you can. Maybe wait on the terra cotta pot change if you can, I've personally lost every hoya I've had in terra cotta but my office/plant space is in a very dry basement
he had many types of internal parasites and received his second round of medication yesterday. He's a very sweet but tiny little pup. I'm hoping to get him and his brother as healthy as possible with our vet clinics help
