Driving stick on my 2017 Subaru WRX STI. Ash_dacat on Tiktok. I initially created a TikTok account because I had horrible driving anxiety when trying to teach myself stick on my Subaru. I started to realize that I was not alone. A lot of people struggled with driving anxiety. A lot of my videos focus on teaching others stick shift, although I am not perfect, but I’ve started incorporating more videos about me and my life. Come, follow along! Happy to have you here!
Hey Ash! I bought a 2020 wrx earlier this year. Been driving it for a bit but I still struggle with a couple things. 1st to 2nd on these cars is so tricky to me, I feel like I lose so much momentum and it takes me a second to get into 2nd smoothly, i've heard this is pretty typical for the wrx. Second is hills, trying to find the optimal way for me to not have so much anxiety on hills, handbrake starts, hill start assists, and bite point with foot on brake, still the main time I stall the car. Third is taking off, in first, I feel like im SO slow. Its gotten better but I want to work on my confidence to be able to take off quicker!
I want to reach this level of Zen. Just got my first manual car 2 weeks ago. I feel like I made the learning process more difficult by adding an adjustable clutch stop. I've moved it several times trying to find what I prefer best but in doing so my clutch engagement point keeps shifting.
share more on RU-vid😿i was following on insta but deleted my account, now i don't see your cooking vids or your bible story as much 😿😿love your content!!
@@terranova246 thank you! I definitely remember your username on Instagram. I got you! I’ve been really sick the past few days so as soon as I’m feeling better, I will make more videos
God be like “I’m about to have cross paths with the man deeply rooted in God that you prayed for” … @ashdacat be like “yeahhhh I got my dumpy touched and toook the guy with money and cars instead” 😂
Needs bit finer clutch master adjustment and change brakes/trans. ac delco trans fluid and SRF brake fluid is best. hydraulic system doesn't work as good with burnt brake fluids
Thank you for not only the instruction but the tons of words of encouragement. 30 years old and buying my first manual car to learn and face the challenge head-on.
